Welcome to the Macquarie Inn Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for considering The Macquarie Inn for your wedding venue. Our facilities include the JC function room with a private courtyard and bar which can accommodate up to 200 guests. Upstairs is the intimate and private River Room which can accommodate up to 60 guests. The Macquarie Inn has a country style motel with 28 rooms including a 2 bedroom family unit and a beautiful honeymoon suite. Other facilities include a guest laundry, kids playground, pool and secure car parking facilities. Our Head Chef has created a delicious set of menus and packages, catering to a variety of styles and tastes. You can choose the wedding menu that suits you, or discuss with our Events Manager, to tailor a package to suit your budget and style. Our dedicated and professional functions team will provide the highest level of service to every guest ensuring a successful and memorable event for you and your guests. Deposits of $350.00 are non-refundable as they secure the booking for you and prelude other bookings on this date. This amount must be paid at time of booking (cash or credit card). 2. A 10% surcharge will apply to functions held on public holidays and Sundays. 3. Full payment must be received 7 days prior to the event. Any outstanding amounts must be paid on the night. 4. Where an event is cancelled within 21 days of the booked date, and monies paid to date will be non refundable. 5. 10 working days prior to the function The Macquarie Inn requires the final number of guests. 6. Last drinks will be served 30 minutes prior to the venue closing time. 7. Guests may not bring food onto the premises other than the wedding cake. Written permission is required from the Events Manager to do so. 8. The Hotel is fully licensed and alcohol is not to be brought on to the premises. 9. It is your responsibility to ensure all decorations, props and equipment (belonging to you) is removed within 24 hours after the function. No sticky tape or confetti is to be used in the function room, noncompliance will incur a cleaning fee. 10. The Macquarie Inn reserves the right to hold functions simultaneously in both function rooms.
11. The Macquarie Inn is obliged to abide by State Government Regulations in regard to the responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons, minors, and those whose behavior is considered by management as disorderly, will be refused beverage service and may be removed from the function and from the premises. 12. Children under the age of 18 years old must not approach the bar at any time and vacate the premises prior to 10pm. 13. It is your responsibility to ensure orderly conduct of your guests especially when leaving the premises at night. Management and staff of The Macquarie Inn reserve the right to call the Police and or to terminate the function without any refund of any kind, should behavior present a problem to guests, staff or neighbours of The Macquarie Inn. 14. You are responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings and gifts. The Macquarie Inn will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any such property, before, during or after the function. 15. If required, we can arrange security at a fee. 16. The organisers of the function are financially responsible for any damage to the venue or outdoor areas and equipment, including microphone, sound system, fixtures and fittings caused by their function. 17. The Macquarie Inn uses the freshest and best ingredients available and prepares food under the most hygienic of conditions. However, no responsibility is accepted for any latent defect in any product used by us or any loss however arising there from. 18. We regret that due to health regulations, food that has already been prepared onsite is not able to be taken from the premises. 19. Should you wish to require to set-up prior to the function date you will be billed per day for room hire for the days that you require.
