CHRYSO Southern Africa is one of the 7 CHRYSO subsidiaries Based in South Africa, the CHRYSO Southern Africa Group has: 7 Branches 3 Manufacturing Plants JHB CHRYSO Southern Africa BFN DBN EL CTN GRJ PE CHRYSO Southern Africa s impressive footprint has helped to secure it as a leading company in the construction chemicals industry. Branches and production plants are placed in key areas to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service throughout Africa. While our largest plant is in Jet Park (Johannesburg) our two other plants are conveniently located near two ports - Cape Town and Durban (Africa s largest and busiest cargo port). This not only gives us the ability to efficiently deliver to any customer anywhere in Sub- Saharan Africa, but it guarantees safety of supply (if one plant is not able to produce a product, the other two plants can ensure delivery).

CHRYSO Southern Africa An integrated logistics chain CHRYSO Southern Africa has vast experience in transporting products to various African countries. We have warehousing facilities in a few countries and can tailor-make a service supply chain according to customer needs. CHRYSO has the ability to take over the entire logistics chain for our customers and have had great success in reducing the transport time (road, air and sea freight). This is achieved by finding the quickest and most reliable shipping line and by reducing excessive delays when dealing with two clearing agents. At times we have been able to reduce some of our customers transport costs by 40%. Due to our clearing agents, as well as various partnerships and agreements, CHRYSO have the capabilities to service about 80% of the African continent. Innovation is an integral part of our DNA In order to make one third of our turnover from the sale of products under five years old, every CHRYSO subsidiary invests almost 4% of its annual turnover into research and development. Therefore, an average of 30 new products is developed and 12 products/ technologies are patented annually. We have academic partnerships with universities around the world, as well as an international network of technical people that can give you expert advice. CHRYSO Southern Africa has various concrete laboratories as well as an excellent relationship with commercial laboratories that assist in giving daily technical support to our customers while ensuring high levels of quality control. We partner with our customers and key suppliers to develop unique solutions catered to their specific needs.

Sustainable development CHRYSO aims to create wealth, while encouraging social progress and minimising our ecological footprint. Our aim is to be exemplary; where our commitment and initiatives will benefit our business, our employees, our customers and the communities in which we belong. We have set financial targets for new green product innovation and will continue to launch products based on bio-sourcing, renewable resources and biodegradability principles, with an emphasis on products that assist our customers in promoting energy efficiency and reducing their carbon footprint. CHRYSO Southern Africa is ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. We aim to have the ISO 14001 certification by the end of 2013. CHRYSO Southern Africa
