Introduction Welcome to Drayton Park Golf Club where we pride ourselves on our exemplary hospitality. Drayton Park Golf Club is located 3 miles south of Abingdon, in 90 acres of mature and scenic Oxfordshire countryside with easy access from the A34 and with ample car parking. The first floor McKenna Suite is available for your exclusive use and is fully temperature controlled. The McKenna Suite takes full advantage of its location with enviable views across the course from its private balconies. The Golf Club was established by the late Michael McKenna as a result of his love of golf and we continue to uphold his passion today. The McKenna Suite is a versatile event space perfect for your celebration, with an integral bar area for your exclusive use. This is available for hire at an additional 65 per hour, 250 for half a day or 500 for the whole day. We look forward to welcoming you and your guests. The Booking Process On the following pages you will find details of our rates, menus, and additional options. If you have not already done so, we will be delighted to check availability for you and place a provisional booking on your chosen date with no financial obligation. This will allow you time to view our facilities if required and make necessary arrangements. This provisional booking will be held for a period of 14 working days. If you wish to confirm your booking a non-refundable deposit will be required. Following this a meeting, will be arranged with our Catering Manager, to discuss timings and make food selections, if required. We offer flexible options for our clients, to ensure we can provide for every occasion, whether it s a Birthday Party or Christening Tea. Additional Information All catering and drink is provided by Drayton Park Golf Club s (DPGC) on site caterers. We are happy to accommodate special diets upon request. The bar is available on either a service/pay bar basis, depending upon your requirements. The car park has 156 bays and is free for you and your guests to use subject to availability. Guests are able to leave cars overnight at their own risk however, they must be registered in The Clubhouse and collected by 12 noon the following day. Smoking is only permitted on the McKenna Suite Balcony, on the Clubhouse Terrace and in the car park. Candles are permitted to be used as table decorations in the McKenna Suite. It is possible to supply extras, such as entertainment, decoration, fireworks and floristry. All bookings with external suppliers must be communicated to DPGC and relevant insurance certificates supplied. DPGC is accessible for those with physical disabilities, including designated disabled car park spaces, lift access and a unisex accessible toilet. All prices are per person and include VAT at the current rate. Page 8
Booking Terms & Conditions To confirm your booking and reserve our services we request a signed contract. The remaining balance payment is to be paid on the date of the event. If your event is due to take place less than one month after the booking is made please note that full payment is required at the time of booking. Any invoices for additional items issued after your event must be settled within 14 days. Drayton Park Golf Club (DPGC) reserves the right to charge interest on any late payments. Cancellation Policy We understand that there are occasions where cancellations are unavoidable and we will endeavour to consider each case individually. We request written notification of a cancellation either in the form of a letter or an email. For guidance our cancellation schedule prior to the event date is as follows: Cancellation less than 2 weeks (14 days) 100% fee Cancellation two weeks to one month (14-30 days) 75% fee Cancellation over one month (30 days) 50% fee If a cancellation is made in excess of six months (180 days) in advance of the event and we are able to re-allocate the cancellation date then we will offer a full refund minus a 50 administration fee. We recommend you take out insurance cover for your event. Guest Numbers Package prices quoted are based on minimum numbers. Should you wish to reduce guest numbers then there will be an increase in price charged per person to cover associated costs. Should your numbers increase from the minimum number we will charge the additional guests at the price indicated on the package menu. Damages Damage to the property or equipment of DPGC made by guests attending your event will be your responsibility and will be charged to you at the current replacement cost. Under no circumstances are guests permitted to access the Golf Course and its greens. Substitutions Due to circumstances beyond our control we may need to vary the menu content or service provided. If this occurs we will ensure that we provide notice of these alterations to you as soon as possible. The alterations in food and service provided will be of equal value and where reasonable and practical they will be substantially similar. Left Over Food In compliance with food Health and Safety Law once foods have been served to guests any leftovers will be disposed of at DPGC s discretion. Notice DPGC does not accept any liability and shall not be liable for non-completion of the event or for any delays arising from: Strikes, riots or lock-outs Exceptional adverse weather conditions Loss or damage by fire, theft or floods or any other cause beyond DPGC reasonable control.
