Green Seed Spain will implement a product placement during the San Sebastian Film festival, in order to communicate the uniqueness characteristics of the Port Wine and relate its image to the arts and cinema industry. Proposed activities: Integrated: Presence of the IVDP logo in all media communications included within the SS Festival. Tasting & Nosing at the Festival promotional area, hiring a commercial space (Size 9 m2: 3m x 3m) at the sales office, located inside the Kursaal premises. The sales office is a professional space of more than 500 m² set around the viewing area and cordoned off for the exclusive use of pass-holders. Number of pass-holders: 3.000. Around 6,000 visitors per day. 1 professional will attend the stand. To provide Port and Douro wines communication leaflets at the Kursaal premises. Parallel: To develop diverse tastings and samplings in restaurants related to the festival. Eg. Akelarre, Arzak, Kursaal Martin-Berasategui. Tasting a Douro wine as an aperitif and a Port wine at the desserts. To promote Port and Douro wines in several cinema events, where actors and juries can taste the products after dinner and being seen with Douro products. To hand give packs including information and sampling miniatures (20cl) in the main hotels where film starts and festival people is hosted. E.g.: Hotel María Cristina, Hotel NH Aranzazu, etc.. Press clipping service, after festival, resume of all PR insertions resumed monthly. 4.2.5 Participation in the Alimentaria 2010 and 2012 fairs (March, Barcelona) Guarantee and coordinate with Fira Baracelona the rental of the space, the design and rental of a stand, register IVDP s co-exhibitors, and provide assistance and advice to Portuguese exhibitors prior and during the Fair. Green Seed Spain will hire the stand cleaning service and hire all the ménage (glasses, etc...) needed during all the Alimentaria exhibition. 3 people will be at the IVDP stand during Alimentaria as follows: 1 professional 1 Green Seed Staff 1 hostess Activities to be undertaken: To attract Spanish wine buyers/specialists to IVDP stand via creating a personalised invitation where they can taste and enjoy from participating producers the most unique products available in their cellars old vintages and extra old wines. 9 Green Seed Spain, S.L.
To organise tasting events with some important selective media, this all surrounded by a specific Portuguese meal menu, mix matching Douro and Port Wines. Every day from 12:30 hrs to 13:30 hrs a tasting with Spanish cheeses (e.g.: Manchego, Idiazábal and Cabrales) and Porto and Douro wines will be matched and tasted at the IVDP stand To hand out information regarding the awards and trophies achieved by the main Port/Douro producers in the last years, this will orientate and promote the excellent quality of Port / Douro wines. To hand out Port / Douro wine miniatures and information leaflets to those interesting visitors. To organize a contest within stand visitors, that will consist in ask three questions about Port / Douro wines to the visitors.
