Pinotage This is a red grape that has its origins in South Africa. A scientist called Abraham Pernold crossed the seeds of Cinsaut with Pinot Noir and the result is what we today call Pinotage. This is a full bodied red wine with bold tannins and some red berry tones together with chocolate and coffee aromas. This wine pairs well with most red meat, lamb and rich spicy stews.
