Arrangements Reservations To reserve meeting rooms and tables for events, please contact SAU Tech s Assistant to the Chancellor at 870.574.4488. If your event is for more than 100 people please call and make an appointment so we can work out the details of your event. Guarantee Number During the initial planning of your event we request an estimated number of guests. A final guarantee number is required 48 hours prior to the event. You will be charged for the guaranteed number plus any additional guests. If a signed event sheet has not been confirmed within 48 hours of the event then the guarantee will not be confirmed. Pricing All prices are for buffet service. An additional $1.50 per person will be charged for Ultimate Buffets and $1.75 will be charged for Served Meals. All prices may be subject to change due to fluxuating food costs. There is a $15 or 15% (which ever is greater) delivery fee for all off campus caterings. Billing Procedures Within the college: You are required to to have an approved purchase order at the time you book your event. Outside the College: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your event at the time of booking. The balance of your account is to be paid at least 48 hours prior to your event. Exceptions will be made as necessary to accommodate certain company payment policies. Make all checks payable to Blended Catering. Linen / China / Silverware / Glassware / Plastic Products On site events are served with linen*, china, silverware & glassware unless specified and/or otherwise agreed upon. Unless specified in advance, deliveries are served with regular plastic products, paper napkins & linen for serving tables. High grade plastic products can be provided at an additional cost (see page 12 for pricing). A $2 per person china fee will be applied to all off campus events if china is desired. *Linen prices are listed on page 12. Special Menus We will gladly design any menu to meet your needs. Types of Events Refreshments These events usually consist of small snacks and assorted drinks. They are set up with linens, appropriate dining ware (plates, forks, cups, etc.), and condiments for chosen menu. This type of event will be a drop and go meaning the server will set up the event prior to the start time and will clean up the event after the designated end time. Great for meetings or small office parties Reception Receptions are similar to refreshments events but differ in two very important ways. The serving staff will work the event start to finish by attending to the guests at all serving times. Also the decorations on the buffet will be fitting to the occasion. If extra set-up, clean-up or help is required during the event, labor fees may apply. Buffet A Buffet is any event where a meal is set up for self-serve by the guests. These events will have the salad, bread, and main course all on one buffet. A staff member will be available to serve the entrée s on the buffet. The drinks will be set up on a separate table with goblets for easy access by the guests; appropriate condiments will also be available. The dining tables will be set up with tablecloths, rolled silverware, and salt and pepper shakers. Desserts will either be set up at a separate station or they will be set on the dining tables. This will vary depending on the event and the location of the event. Ultimate Buffet An Ultimate Buffet is a more formal version of a buffet. Salads, bread, drinks, and desserts will be pre-set on the dining tables. The dining tables will also have full place settings and coffee cups. Coffee will be served by the staff. The main course will still be a self-serve buffet with staff member serving the entrée s. Served Meal A served meal is an event where the guests will go to their dining tables and take their seats. The first course, appetizers or salad will be pre-set, as well as tea, water, and bread. Depending on the time frame and the wish of the organizers of the event the dessert may be pre-set or it might be served. After the dinner has begun the servers will clear plates and after an entire table is ready to be served the next course it will be served. Plated Meal A plated meal is an event where the entire meal is pre-set. The food, drinks, and dessert will all be pre-set on the serving table set-up beforehand by the server and will be cleaned up at a designated time after the conclusion of the meal.
