Christmas Breaks A warm and festive welcome awaits you at Sudbury House for a two or three night retreat on the edge of the Cotswolds, where you can take some time out from your busy schedules, relax with your favourite tipple and read a good book or simply watch the world go by. Christmas Eve from 2.00pm onwards Arrive for a warm welcome from our friendly team before being shown to your room to settle in at your leisure. Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge from 14.00 to 16.00 where board games and papers will be available for you to start your relaxing break. Dinner will be served in our Brasserie from 19.00 to 21.00 with menus created especially for you by our team of talented Chefs. Local church services are available for those that would like to walk to midnight mass with a warming glass of mulled wine and mince pies being served when you arrive back to the hotel. Christmas Day Christmas Day will start with a full English breakfast followed by a morning of relaxation, perhaps a walk to the Faringdon Folly and time to dress before the main event of the day, Christmas lunch. The Queens speech is accompanied by coffee and mince pies and time to enjoy each others company on this special day of the year. A light buffet dinner will be served from 19.30 which will bring Christmas day to a close for another year. Boxing Day Breakfast will be an informal event before you decide to spend another day relaxing in the lounge or set out to explore the local countryside.
