transportation We work exclusively with local companies, who s chauffeured fleet of cars, as well as coaches for larger groups, are available to take you to and from Halcyon House in comfort and style. beverage consumption Please enquire about our beverage on consumption if you wish not to have a package inclusion. Minimum spend applies; please ask our Event Coordinator for further details. function package inclusions Dedicated function coordinator to ensure your day runs smoothly Table set including placement of name cards event timings and alcohol service Lunch event: from 11.30, guests required to be seated for lunch by 12.30, to finish by 5.00pm. Dinner event: from 4.30pm, guests required to be seated by 6.00pm, to finish by 11.00pm. Sunday & midweek events: the same timings as above, however to finish by 10.00pm. We operate under the guidelines and restrictions of the independent Liquor and gaming authority, as such we are bound by their timings and trading hours. Please note if guests are staying at Halcyon House and attending your function normal check-in times apply. p.9
weekend events Please note for all Saturday function we require a minimum of 50 people. room hire and accommodation For functions of 25 people or less a room hire fee of $3000 applies For functions of 26-50 guests a room hire fee of $5000 applies For functions of 50 guests or more, groups are required to book all 21 rooms at the hotel. This includes accommodation for up to 50 guests and daily a la carte breakfast in Paper Daisy Restaurant. When booking the entire hotel for the night, Halcyon House will gift a night in the Halcyon Suite for the event organiser or similar. music and entertainment Musicians and DJ s are permitted however space is limited and dependent on your function party size. Please ask your function co-ordinator for further information. We work within a residential area therefore all music must be kept to a reasonable level. Lunch time events, music can be enjoyed in the garden, poolside and/ or inside from 11.00am, finishing no later than 4.30pm. Dinner time events, music can be enjoyed in the garden, poolside and/or inside from 3.30pm, DJ s & bands are to move indoors from 6.00pm, finishing no later than 11.00pm. Weekday Events to conclude by 10pm, music by 9.30pm. Dance floor space will be dependent on your function group size. byo policy With events that wish to BYO cake full responsibility must be accepted by the patrons for any food allergies or food poisoning. Any remaining cake must be taken at the end of the event. BYO alcohol and beverages are not permitted. p.10
