Weather Policy The show will continue rain or shine. Please come prepared for the weather. Small pocket-sized and collapsible umbrellas without a point are permitted in the venue. Large umbrellas will be confiscated. Tickets All guests require a printed ticket, whether it s a print-at-home ticket or standard ticket. It is strongly recommended that tickets be printed in advance to avoid lineups on the day of the show. A valid ticket is required for entry. Entry will not be granted with the presentation of only a ticket confirmation. Box Office - Commonwealth Stadium The Box Offices at Gates 2, 6 9 and 13 will open at 6:00 PM. Will Call Located at Gate 13 (Southeast corner of stadium). Note: Please arrive at box office early if picking up tickets. Gates 2, 6, 9 & 13 will be open at 6:00 PM. Gate 9 can be VERY busy due to its proximity to the LRT. Please consider walking to Gate 6 or 13 which is a short walk from Gate 9. Accessible Entrances Commonwealth Stadium There are accessible entrances at Gates 2, 6 & 9. If you require elevator access, please use Gate 11. Parking 3
There is NO parking on-site at Commonwealth Stadium. Public transportation is highly encouraged. Parking restrictions will be in effect in the neighborhoods that surround Commonwealth Stadium. Only residents with valid permits will be permitted to park in these areas. Vehicles in violation of the residential parking restrictions will be tagged and towed. We ask all guests to be courteous and respect the neighborhoods that surround Commonwealth Stadium. Accessible Parking There is limited accessible parking in Parking Lot A (112 Ave / 90 Street) and the LRT Lot at Stadium Road and 112 Ave for vehicles with a valid placards. There is a dedicated accessible drop-off located at Gate 11 located on Stadium Road for guests using mobility devices. Transit Service LRT Edmonton Transit offers light rail transit (LRT) service to Commonwealth Stadium from 15 locations in Edmonton. Edmonton's LRT has an enhanced service for your convenience from 4:00 PM. until 12:30 AM. Fares are $3.25 one way or a $6.50 round trip can be purchased. For more information, visit takeets.com Park & Ride Edmonton Transit is offering a Park & Ride service for the Rugby Canada Match. The take in service starts at 5:30 PM, and will operate until the stadium is cleared at the end of the event. For a regular transit fare ($3.25 or $6.50 round trip), Edmonton Transit will get you to and from the match, safely and quickly. Calder City Lot Davies City Lot Burns City Lot 124 Street and 124 Avenue 86 Street and 61 Avenue 70 Street and 112 Avenue Information is located at: http://www.edmonton.ca/ets/special-event-park-and-ride.aspx All regular Transit fare media will be accepted. This includes cash, tickets and passes. Bike Racks Bike Racks are available outside Gate 2, Gate 6, Gate 9 and Gate 13. Taxi stand A taxi stand is located on 112 Avenue. Drop Off / Pick Up Area The curb lane on 112 Avenue eastbound from 95 Street to Stadium Road will be a dedicated drop off and pick up location. Road Closures Stadium Road will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 6:00 PM and will re-open at approximately 10:00 PM. Guest Services and Ticketing Issues 4
Guest service attendants will be located outside at all Gates. Ticketing issues can be addressed at the Gate 13 Box Office. Prohibited Items Please be aware that bags will be subject to inspection upon entry. Individuals may be subject to search prior to entry into Commonwealth Stadium. The following items are prohibited: Weapons of any kind Glass or metal containers Alcoholic beverages other than those sold in the venue Narcotics and other illegal substances Video cameras and professional recording devices Professional grade cameras and tripods Animals (Service animals are Permitted) Air horns, megaphones Laser pointers Peanuts in the shell Helmets Large umbrellas (small pocket umbrellas without a point are permitted) Flags In-Line skates, bicycles, skateboards Any items deemed by Management to be dangerous or inappropriate Persons possessing any of these items may be denied entry or subject to removal. Persons denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will not be issued a refund. Due to these safety procedures, we strongly recommend early arrival to the event. Camera Policy Guests may use personal cameras and cell phones to take photos within the venue; however, cameras with any size of detachable lenses larger than 200mm will not be permitted on-site. Video cameras or video recording devices are not permitted at the show. To avoid distracting the players and your fellow guests, please refrain from using flash photography at any point during the match. Food and Beverage Outside food and beverage will not be permitted to enter the stadium. A wide range of food and beverage options are available for purchase once inside the stadium. Permanent concession stands accept credit or cash. Food service at Field Level accepts Cash ONLY. Alcohol Policy All guests who appear under the age of 25 will be required to show valid ID to purchase alcohol. Guests serving alcohol to minors will be subject to arrest. Alcohol may not be brought into the stadium. Guests attempting to bring alcohol into the stadium will be denied entry or removed. Any guest that is denied entry or removed for any violation of facility rules will not be issued a refund. Smoking 5
Smoking is prohibited on stadium property, including e-cigarettes. There is a designated smoking area outside of Gates 7 & 8, which is located at the north end of the Stadium beside the video board. ATMs For your convenience there are ATMs located throughout the concourse area of the venue. Lost and Found All lost and found items will be taken to the reception counter of Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre after the event. Staff will be at the reception counter for 60 minutes after the event ends to help you. For questions about lost items during the event please ask any Commonwealth Stadium staff member. To contact the reception counter please phone 311. FAQs What time will Merchandise be available for purchase? Merchandise will be available inside Commonwealth Stadium once the gates open, and will remain open 30 minutes after the end of the match. Can I bring my personal camera to the match? Yes, personal cameras are permitted. No flash photography. Go-Pro, SLRs with lens and video recording devices are not permitted. Are backpacks allowed? Yes, and it must be small enough to fit under your seat. Note that all bags will be searched at the gate and guests carrying prohibited items will be denied entry. See above for a list of prohibited items. Is the match televised? Please be aware that the match is being televised. As a condition of entry, patrons consent to their filming and/or photography as members of the audience. What happens if I ve lost my ticket? Please contact Ticketmaster.
