La Motte R270 Deep ruby red colour. Intense plum and toffee nose with cinnamon spice. Tannins are soft and well-balanced. Full palate with exceptionally long aftertaste. Rust en Vrede R652 A firm tannin structure is in balance with red fruit and liquorice flavours supported by a subtle oak component which fills the mid palate and carries through to the finish. PINOT NOIR PINOTAGE Douglas Green Attractive crimson depth with a purple hue on the rim. Generous ripe strawberry and raspberry fruit on the nose brushed with dark chocolate and caramel hints. Plush and juicy on entry with an ample mouthful of juicy fruit well supported by soft, ripe tannins and discreet oak spice finishing with soft sleek cherry and berry flavours. Beyerskloof Strong plum flavours with velvety tannins. Well structured, yet elegant and soft, medium-bodied with a fresh and superbly balanced finish. Impressive for consistency, given the volume produced of this specific vintage. For a full flavoured experience we recommend drinking young. Simonsig This youthful wine with its vibrant ruby colour, entices with the sweet scented aromas of red berries and blueberries and just a touch of spice. Moulded tannins sculpture the palate with the soft nuances of dried prunes and red cherries. The finish is juicy and delectable. Jacobsdal R220 The bouquet follows through onto the palate. Initial impression of lightness, but with underlying body. Well-balanced and elegantly structured with silky tannins. Diemersdal R240 This wine shows a complex nose of red fruits, vanilla, exotic spices, and rich dark chocolate aromas. The palate is full flavoured and smoothly textured with oriental spice, chocolate and roasted banana flavours.
