The tippy leaf tea of the second plucking (May to June) is a little stronger in body and colour than the earlier picking, fruity but less astringent than the first flush Darjeeling's. This blend Darjeeling has a fruity balanced taste perfect for afternoon tea. Keemun Supreme One of the World's great black teas originating in the Quiman region of the Anhui province of China. Keemun is a full bodied but mellow tea producing a dark deep red cup. It is fruity with hints of pine. It also displays a hint of delicious orchid fragrance and China tea sweetness. Excellent with or without milk. Wonderful hot or iced. Less caffeine and less astringent than Assam.

Green curve is made with young bright green buds and leaves from the Wuyi Mountains of Zhejiang province Lapsang Souchong This Lapsang Souchong comes from Formosa and is made from larger more mature leaves which have been withered and dried and then smoked. Once considered to be a man s tea. This is for those who like a strong bold flavour. Chamomile This is a very high quality of chamomile tea. This hand sorted loose flower chamomile is more intense in flavour than the usual product and is caffeine free. Chamomile tea is reputed to have relaxing qualities and a cup before bed may aid a good night's sleep. It has been used since Neolithic times. Apple and Ginger This is a highlight for ginger lovers.. A large quantity of apple pieces combined with ginger bits and a delicious ginger flavour offer a sparkling and aromatic drink while the rosehip peel adds a slightly fruity note. Assam Mangalam This connoisseur Assam the finest tippy golden flowery orange pekoe grade 1 is exceptional. Mangalam was founded in 1973. Assamica hybrids were developed and planted unusually close together. The result is exceptional. It tastes deliciously malty. A rich and spicy tea with a bright cup and a strong liquor. A must for lovers of Assam. Darjeeling Margaret's Hope Estate A 2nd Flush Darjeeling. Named after the proprietor's beloved daughter, this famous Darjeeling tea garden is planted with Chinese type 'Thea sinensis'. The slow growth of these plants in the cool altitudes of the Himalayas forms the basis for this high grade tea. The cup is amber coloured, the bouquet is aromatic and spicy with a touch of sweetness.
