We are a family winery that produces organic signature wines. To do this, it is not sufficient to produce organic grapes, but rar, exceptional conditions for both grapes and wine-making process are necessary. Our main leading edge is that we only have a one winegrower, who, moreover, is oenologist winery. These accounts for existence one and same objective all throughout production process: to obtain a wine excellent quality. TRADITION Francisco Cambronero Torres (Franchete) started vine-growing tradition when he planted first vines in early years last century. In 1983, bror Francisco Antonio, Cambronero constructed Pérez, alongside winery to his process grapes from se crops. In 1999 Francisco Cambronero Pérez, alongside his children Francisco, Encarna, Isabel and Lola, created company Vinos Cambronero S.L., which currently operates family winery. THE TERROIR The area production is located in autonomous region Castilla la Mancha. The region is located to norast province Albacete, between Júcar and Cabriel Rivers. It enjoys a continental climate, with slight influences Mediterranean temperatures and little rain. The wear conditions are extreme with temperatures nearing -20º C in winter and 45º C in summer. This, joined with low humidity content air, helps control plagues, due to which it is relatively easy to produce extremely high-quality organic wines.

The vineyards, located at an average height 650 meters, receive warm, dry winds from west on summer days, whilst at night winds are fresh and damp, from Mediterranean. Thus, rmal difference during grape's between night and day ripening process is very pronounced. This special climate favours formation polyphenols on grapes, and makes this region perfect location for obtaining superior quality red and rosé wines. THE VINEYARD The family consists farm 42 hectares vineyards with cultivated Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Tempranillo Alicante and Bouschets varieties, in accordance methods with organic farming.

The difference between grapes begins with design vineyard. Our trellises are unique in area. They are two meters high, and formation takes place at one metre and twenty centimeters. The density plantation is around three thousand six hundred plants per hectare. The great height vine ensures a greater surface area leaf exposed to sunlight, which is essential for optimum ripening grapes. With leaf formation so high, we raise clusters from ground in order to achieve two purposes: On one hand, this decreases humidity emanating from soil in area where clusters are and increases aeration amongst m, decreasing risk fungal diseases. This is very important in organic farming, since disease prevention reduces use pesticides in wine growing. On anor hand, soil accumulates heat during day and releases it at night. Separating clusters from soil increases rmal difference between day and night in grapes. This rmal difference is very important to proper ripening polyphenols so vital in obtaining high quality red and rosé wines. Our region enjoys one greatest differences in temperature between day and night, but by accentuating this fact, we are exploiting this difference even more, thus obtaining better grapes. With such a high plantation density, we are able to stop growth prematurely so as to obtain smaller grapes, while at same time reducing production grapes per plant.

This concept vineyard is complemented by our cultivation system, which does not limit itself to organic farming, but moves beyond to obtain grapes maximum quality. Our irrigation system focuses on production a very small size grape, in order to obtain a greater amount skin per grape, to get possible kilo so as best raw material. To do this, we provoke a hydric stress at start vegetative cycle vine, so as to stop growth prematurely. Once growth stoppage plant has been achieved, we give it water necessary to impede its leaves from falling, so as to obtain a good ripeness. This system cultivation has one great inconvenience, which is low production. We compensate for this partly using a pruning system involving more buds per hectare in order to produce more clusters, albeit less kilos grape. Our farm has an average yield thirty hectoliters per hectare. This is a very low yield from point view vine-grower, but it is necessary in order to obtain highly expressive wines with a personal character that differentiates m from or wines.

THE WINE CELLAR The Winery consisting small concrete warehouses with capacities ranging between 39 (858 gallons) and 390 hectoliters (8580 gallons), figure total volume 12,000 reaches hectoliters (264000 gallons). Approximately gallons) 1500 wine hectoliters are produced (33000 as an average annual, using organic grapes from vineyards that are property Cambronero Family. We have adopted wine-making process to characteristics grape so as to emphasise peculiarities that our system cultivation gives it, and to heighten peculiarities proper to our grapes to maximum, in order to obtain best that y have to fer. We avail extraction equipment that we have designed ourselves, which provoke high extraction at beginning fermentation. This enables us to shorten macerations and obtain more balanced wines. THE WINES Since 2000, when its Guarantee Origin began, VINOS CAMBRONERO, S.L. has bottled its wines V.C.P.R.D MANCHUELA under brand FRANCHETE. The concept our present mode cultivation is not included in regulations governing production MANCHUELA Guarantee Origin, so that at present our organic wines are bottled as VINO DE LA TIERRA DE CASTILLA, under FRANCHETE, FINCA LASTONAR and CAMBRIUS brands.

As now, we are preparing a set define regulations that will differentiated quality our wines for ir acknowlement under ir own Guarantee Origin, as Organic Vineyard Wines.
