INTRODUCTION TO Mathieu Teisseire It started with a Cherry At the foothills of the French Alps, nearly 300 years ago, Mathieu Teisseire was inspired by the flavor of a ripe, true and juicy cherry, that he developed a way of making syrups which captured and reflected the fruits truest flavour. This method of making syrups is the foundation for Teisseire, which is the number one selling syrup in France. Since then Teisseire has been added to countless glasses of water, cups of coffee or stirred into one of the thousands of different types of cocktails that can be made with the syrup. That means staying true to our French heritage, using the same naturally filtered water from the French Alps that was first used nearly 300 years ago. Our new expert flavor masters, who still make all the syrups in France, ensure the high standards set all that time ago are still met. And just as importantly they strive to be as innovate as Monsieur Teisseire, by creating drinks that are balanced in flavor and as close to fresh fruit as possible. We are proud of our history, that s why we still make the syrups close to where Mathieu Teisseire first made his cherry liquor. This has been achieved by an innovative technique using a blend of 2 sugars to give a robost flavour palette. Added to this is the fact that our syrups contain up 38% fruit (which is the highest among all known syrups) this allows us to achieve our aim of replicating true flavour. Professionals recognise Teisseire as flavour masters, this is a title that has merit; because at a blind taste tests (judged by professionals) we were the best performing syrup, as judges recognize superior product when they taste one.
