2012 CCOG Accomplishments Expanded membership and regional recognition, refined the CCOG website, and published our Newsletter Enacted the County Land Use Ordinance for Olive Oil Processing and Tasting Rooms Delivered industry experts as speakers/workshops Took a position on a Federal Marketing Order Conducted a buy local campaign for the Paso Robles Olive Festival Established CCOG presence at Savor the Central Coast Executed a bulk-buy program that saved many hundreds of member dollars Obtained USDA grant commitments from COOC
President s Goals for 2013 Achieve compliance with the SLO County Land Use Ordinance Educate on State and Federal requirements Expand market opportunities for the success of growers and producers Establish guiding principles that help achieve and maintain CCOG excellence Develop a framework of sustainable farming and production practices Expand awareness of CCOG and continue growth in membership Establish a member s only communications blog Continue expansion of CCOG s financial position
