Colombian - Finca La Manuela Light Roast La Manuela coffee estate is located in Manizales, Colombia. The coffee estate is in a beautiful region, rich in natural resources, surrounded by towering mountains and fertile hills. The estate was established by the Gomez family in 1925. The coffee is the caturra varietal which is washed and kiln dried at harvest time. Tasting Notes Light, sweet, fruity notes with hints of caramel and good body. Sumatra Lintong Medium Roast Sumatra has a unique and unusual way of processing coffee. The ripe red cherries are pulped and placed in fermentation tanks for a short time. Some of the sticky mucilage comes away. They are then dried to around 30 to 40% moisture content as opposed to the typical 10 to 12%. The beans are then hulled immediately and dried to 10 to 12%. The beans are a distinctive dark green colour. Tasting Notes Deep, dark chocolate, earthly flavour with low acidity and great body. Indian Monsoon Malabar Dark Roast Originally shipped on the Monsoon winds which gave this coffee its unique taste, it is now stored in open-ended warehouses on the Malabar Coast during the monsoon period where the humid winds make the harvested beans swell and lose their original acidity. Roasted dark, and released when the oils start to appear. Tasting Notes A rich, smooth and earthy taste with notes of spice.
