Welcome! P lanning a party or celebration? Host your event at Deerwood & make it convenient for you & fun for your guests. Private banquet rooms are available for parties of 12 or more guests. Our spacious & elegant Clubhouse has panoramic views of the golf course & is the perfect setting for a memorable event. We can accommodate up to 250 guests for a plated dinner & up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception in the Lakeview Suite. For smaller events, The Deerwood Room, Palm Room, Board Room or one of the Lakeview Rooms would work perfectly. Menus Our executive Chef Gary McKinsey is one of the finest in Jacksonville and can create a dining experience your guests will long remember. Our Banquet Menus include enough variety to suit any tastes or needs. You can always depend upon Chef Gary and his team to deliver the finest quality and the freshest ingredients for a firstclass meal. Several special event packages are included, and our Catering Director, Denise Brilli, would be happy to help you personalize your menu or any details needed to make your event a success. Pastry Chef We are one of the few private clubs in the area to boast our own highly regarded Pastry Chef JoAnne. She is an artist in creating delicious and beautiful cakes, pastries, and unique desserts that will satisfy anyone s sweet tooth! A catalog with sample photos is available for weddings and other special occasion cakes on our website. Club Facilities The Club is happy to provide tables, house linens, skirting, glassware, dinnerware and our cocktail napkins at no charge. We are also happy to assist you in referrals to vendors our guests have successfully used in the past to help you find the perfect compliments to your event. Guarantees To ensure your room and food is prepared to your specifications we require an estimate of the number of guests upon confirmation of the event booking. A final guarantee of the number of guests is due one week prior to an event, weddings require your final guest count two weeks prior to event date. Menu Selection Menu selections must be confirmed at least four weeks prior to the event to allow adequate time for food ordering and preparation. Due to health code restrictions, any food left over from an event must be disposed of and may not be sent home with guests. Dress Code/Smoking Deerwood maintains a dress code to preserve its elegant atmosphere with Country Club Casual as the appropriate attire for any evening event. Blue jeans are not permitted in the main dining areas or on the golf course. All guests must wear appropriate dining attire (no flip-flops, aqua shoes or athletic shoes in the evening) and gentlemen should remove their caps while in the dining rooms. Deerwood is a non-smoking building. Ashtrays are provided on the back patio area and smoking should be confined to that area. Member Sponsorship of Non-Members Members may sponsor a non-member for use of the Club s facilities for an event. Per our Bylaws, the members assume full responsibility for the guests, including dress code and conduct. Security Gate Deerwood Country Club is a private facility. To expedite access into our gated community, the host of each event must provide the guests with the event name, date and start time. All events with twenty children or more will require security at $29.00 per hour per officer. Payment Please note that there is a deposit of $1,500 due upon confirmation of every event or 50% of estimated expenses less than $1,500. See contract for payment schedule. Estimated balances are due in full 7 days prior to your event. Checks and credit cards are accepted for final payment. Page 1

Banquet rooms and Lakeview West, East and Central, may be used individually or grouped for larger events. A $300 sales minimum per cart is required over a five-hour period, and will be charged accordingly. Please allow us at least three weeks to arrange this. No outside beverages may be brought into the Club for use on the course or in the Clubhouse without prior permission. Deerwood is only licensed to sell liquor for consumption on the premises. We regret we cannot allow any outside liquor to be brought onto the property for consumption at an event, with the exception of a charity fundraiser. Per bottle corkage and bottle fees are $15.00 ++ and $25.00 ++.
