Welcome to the new OHH Pub Company Wine list. Matt Warburton, our in-house sommelier has crafted the new wine list with a selection of Old and New World wines, covering countries and styles to suit all tastes. There is a large selection available to enjoy by the glass and plenty of choice if you are selecting a bottle. Look out for Matt s special recommendations throughout the list. Due to the nature of wine, vintages are subject to change throughout the year.

For your ease we have set the wine list out in the following order: Champagne & Sparkling White Red Half Bottles & Magnums Rosé, Dessert, Sherry & Port

125ml Bottle Champagne & Sparkling 1. Le Altane Prosecco Extra Dry, Italy NV 6.00 26.95 Crisp, mouth-filling fizz with green apples and citrus notes. Award Winning Piper-Heidsieck The Champagne that we have selected for our list is from one of the most highly awarded Champagne houses, and the Wine Maker is certainly the most highly acclaimed sparkling wine maker ever! The man in charge of creating these wines, Regis Camus has won the title of Sparkling winemaker of the year at the International Wine Challenge awards a total of 8 times a true legend in the Champagne world. In the state of the art winery there are 200 fermentation, blending and storage tanks which are necessary as the Brut NV we list is made from blend of over 100 wines, each cru and grape variety meticulously selected is kept separate until the final assemblage or blending. 2. Piper-Heidsieck Brut, France NV 8.50 49.00 A classic Pinot Noir dominated Brut Champagne: plenty of freshness with citrus notes, such as grapefruit, followed by Granny Smith green apple, and crunchy, juicy pear ample and intense. Winner of the Silver Outstanding Award at the 2013 International Wine and Spirit Competition 3. Piper-Heidsieck Vintage Brut, France 2006 69.00 Powerful and structured it shows a honeyed, creamy apricot and orange-zest fruit character with ample freshness on the finish. Awarded a Silver medal at the 2013 International Wine Challenge Chapel Down Sparkling Success Chapel Down s original eight hectare vineyard was established in 1977. Regular successes with classic sparkling wines have driven steady growth and the company now has a significant vineyard on a warm, chalky North Downs site as well as a network of motivated vine-growing partners in Kent, Essex and Sussex. Sparkling wine is the style that just works in England and keeps getting better as they improve vineyard management and winemaking techniques. Chapel Down has managed to find sites that deliver wines with excellent delicacy and finesse as well as beautiful clarity and purity of fruit character. Winemaker Andrew Parley, who has 15 years experience making wine around the world, is adamant that there are no secrets to making great wines, just good grapes and good people. He is very excited about what is being achieved at Chapel Down as he says, with such a good team imbued with insight, vision, ambition, confidence and ability to continuously improve grape and wine quality and push styles in bold new directions, the future looks bright. The Rosé we have listed won a Gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2013 so it s not just us that think it s really good. 4. Chapel Down Brut Rosé, England NV 39.95 A red-fruit summer pudding, beautifully balanced fruity notes with freshness on a lingering finish. Gold Medal Winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2013
