The New Dining Spaces Honoring the year of our founding, the Nineteen Forty-Seven Grill offers a spacious venue for members to dine casually indoors and out. Since 1947 dining at Carmel has been a focal point for sharing goodwill and fellowship among members of all ages. Now these charming sun-drenched rooms and refurbished veranda extend a warm and welcoming legacy to current and future generations. From the bright, roomy interior to the beautifully refurbished veranda, this fun venue offers an informal setting for lunch, dinner or even a quick bite following golf or tennis. Two spacious rooms flow to the gracious outdoor veranda in this vibrant member dining venue. The dedicated buffet space offers both innovations and old favorites, including an everyday upscale salad buffet at lunch and themed dinner buffets throughout the week. The completely refurbished veranda allows outdoor dining at its most comfortable and refreshing. Veranda enhancements include new furnishings, added heaters, and a smart new configuration providing winning views for every diner. The menu at Carmel s new Nineteen Forty-Seven Grill focuses on fresh, local, and high-quality ingredients that allow distinctive choices for all palates. It s the perfect venue to meet fellow members for a cocktail, and firstcome, first-serve dining is also available. Club Dining Elevation of the Carmel dining experience expands beyond this exciting new rendition of the Clubhouse space formerly occupied by the Grill and Couples Lounge. Honors Terrace service continues with some modifications, including lounge-style seating, a delicious snack menu, and drink service for this favorite gathering spot. Please understand full menu service from the main kitchen will only be offered upstairs, while the Honors Terrace and West Patio primarily offer cocktail service and limited menus. The Juice Bar menu has been expanded to include even heartier fare along with the room s fun new look. Banquet service and private party options still abound in additional areas of the Clubhouse from the Club Lounge/West Patio to our stunning private dining rooms. To-Go orders can also be placed by calling the Hostess Stand at 704-945-3334. Watch your Carmeline and regular dining communications about delicious themes for To-Go Tuesdays and other offerings. Please note that to-go orders during weekends and/or peak dining hours may result in lengthier wait times or more limited availability. Please plan ahead for to-go orders at times you know your Club will be hopping! Dress Code Appropriate attire in all areas of the Clubhouse is smart casual, and this dress code applies to all of the new dining areas except The Oak Room, which requires slacks and collared shirts at all times with the addition of recommended jackets on Saturday evenings. Smart casual dress includes appropriate dressy denim, but prohibits worn or torn jeans. Shirts must be tucked in at all times with the exception of Tommy Bahama style shirts or box cut shirts.
