I have the honour to refer to GATT docuent TAR/0, dated 0 Noveber 8, in which Australia notified the CONTRACTING PARTIES that under Article XXVIII: of the General Agreeent it reserved the right to odify its schedule of concessions during the threeyear period coencing on January 8. Pursuant to that notification and on instruction fro y Governent I have the honour to infor you that Australia intends, in accordance with Article XXVIII: of the General Agreeent, to odify a nuber of concessions specified in the attachent. Tables showing relevant trade statistics are attached to this notification. Australia is prepared to enter into negotiations or consultations in accordance with the relevant provisions of Article XXVIII. Any contracting party which considers that it has an interest in these concessions is requested to so indicate within a period of 0 days fro the date of this docuent. English only
