Hello, The most exciting event on the Wagga Wagga calendar is again just around the corner! The Wagga Gold Cup Carnival, on Friday 6th May 2016. The Wagga Gold Cup carnival is a time to catch up with friends, network with colleagues, view the magnificent fashions and most of all a time to see the best thoroughbreds and racing action the district offers. 2016 WAGGA GOLD CUP CARNIVAL MARQUEE INFORMATION SHEET Carnival dates Town Plate Day - Thursday 5th May 2016 & Gold Cup Day - Friday 6th May 2016 All sites and positioning of marquees are allocated by the MTC in the following order Corporate Sponsors, 100 Club Sponsors, General Businesses All marquee bookings must be received by the MTC by Thursday 31st March 2016 Site fees: (Cup Carnival sponsors marquee sites are free of charge) Town Plate Day (100 Club/Sponsor) $250 Town Plate Day (Non 100 Club/sponsor) $350 Gold Cup day: (100 Club/sponsor) $450 Gold Cup day (Non 100 Club/sponsor) $990 Marquee Site Fees are allocated per 6m (depth) x 6m (length) site. Electricity is restricted. Permission from the MTC is required before any electrical items are used (including TV). All alcohol will be charged at MTC bar prices - the MTC will invoice for alcohol consumption. No cash transactions are permitted in marquees. Original beverage order must be paid for. No returns on original order. No extra alcohol can be ordered after 4pm Deposit Payment A $1000 beverage deposit plus site fee will be invoiced on 31st March 2016, with payment due on 8th April 2016. Site fee and beverage deposit are non refundable under any circumstances (including cancellation of race meeting) Failure to pay this invoice within the due date will indicate that your company relinquishes the marquee site. This person must introduce themselves to the bar staff at the beginning of the day. Your marquee will close at 5.30pm (last drinks at 5.15pm). Please ensure your guests are ready to vacate the marquee at this time. Any damages incurred will be the responsibility of the marquee holder. Bar staff abide by responsible service of alcohol laws. These include not serving minors or patrons showing signs of intoxication. Businesses are responsible for safety and security of all hired and personal property. Businesses are responsible for behaviour of all patrons attending their marquee.
