March Read Across America Day! The National Education Association's Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that was designed to encourage every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author, Dr. Seuss--Theodor Seuss Geisel. Our school certainly understands the importance of reading and is a strong proponent of literacy for all ages. Like Dr. Seuss, we believe that books and learning to read should be fun and exciting for children! We have chosen to honor Dr. Seuss legacy and celebrate by making literacy the focus of the day, and we will approach it with the same spirit of fun, discovery, imagination and creativity with which he lived his life! Pre-K Book Wars! Which classroom can read the most books in March? Make sure to document your books on the Official Score Sheet to get credit for each book you read!

March Help Us Spread The Word! Please search for Carolina Kids Child Development Center Rock Hill on Facebook, Google and Yelp to leave a review! Spirit Week 5

We re Celebrating Read Across America All Month! We would like to encourage reading for the ENTIRE month of MARCH! We would love to invite any Celebrity Readers to come read to our classrooms this month to promote literacy! Just let our front desk or your child s classroom know that you, a family member or friend will be coming to read! THANK YOU!
