WHAT IS THIS WEEKEND GOING TO BE LIKE? Jesus. Friends. Old friends. New friends. Lots of friends. Coffee. Candy. Lots of Candy. Hugs. Side hugs. Shoulder hugs. Bro-hugs. Awkward I-was-going-for-a-high-five-and-you-went-in-for-the-hug hugs. Dorm room. Food. Jesus. Bonfire. That cute guy in the second row. Skit night. Volleyball. Prayer. Swimming pool. Worship music. Donuts. We could keep going but you get the point. This weekend is going to be the best weekend of your life. Except for maybe that one weekend when you get married and go on your honeymoon. Yeah. It ll be pretty sweet Seriously though. The theme this year is, CLIMATE CHANGE Everybody has a climate. When people see you coming, what do they expect the forecast to be? What s it like to be on the other side of you? Research shows that the number one obstacle people face in their relationships and careers is an inability to understand the emotional climate of the people around them and to recognize their own emotional climate. We ve all been around people like that. What if you are that person? This weekend will focus on helping you understand you create your climate and the impact it has on those around you.
