The Event Dear Winery, For the first time in 2017, Friends of the Topeka Zoo will present the Roar & Pour Wine Fest on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The event will last until 10 pm and feature wine tasting from a variety of wineries, food, entertainment, and fun! This brand new adults-only (21 and over) event serves as a wonderful fundraiser with funds directly benefiting YOUR Topeka Zoo! All proceeds go to support education programs, conservation efforts, exhibit enhancement and more! Below are some highlights of the Roar & Pour Wine Fest event: For your participation as a wine vendor, you will receive a $200 Participation Fee. We know the Roar & Pour Wine Fest is a big event and a bigger commitment on your part. This is a small token of thanks for your participation and support. Our branding/marketing will emphasize the Roar & Pour Wine Fest as a Wine-Tasting Event. Friends of the Topeka Zoo encourages responsible drinking. Since it is a Wine Tasting event, we will be providing each of our participants with a complimentary souvenir wine glass that they get to use during the event and take home. We will utilize the entire zoo by placing wineries all over the zoo and thus reducing the need for large crowds at each booth. Participants will also carry a passport to take to different the around the world stops throughout the zoo. We will be holding several drawings and door prizes to promote your business more. If you would like to donate any items such as t-shirts, glassware or even private tours/tastings at your winery, you are more than welcome to do so.
