Pure and authentic since 1862 Pure and authentic since 1862 Lustenberger 1862 The roots of our Lustenberger 1862 are passion, the pursuit of perfection in artisanship and 100 percent natural cheese made according to old family traditions that date back to the year 1862. The original fruity and tangy cheese with flavors of citrus, apricot and fresh pasture milk has become a product line. With the experience and the skill of our master cheese makers we created two more cheese specialities and are proud, to present the Lustenberger 1862 line extension. Every single cheese is a true taste experience - discover the world of Lustenberger 1862!

Pure and authentic since 1862 Lustenberger 1862 fruity and tangy Our unwavering devotion to the high art of cheese making is what makes Lustenberger 1862 so unique and distinctive. Driven by his passion for perfection Maurice Lustenberger first started making cheese in 1862. To craft the best cheese, Maurice used only the best milk coming from cows grazing exclusively on fresh alpine herbs and hay. From 1862 to today, we continue the tradition of using only this rich and creamy milk to make the original Lustenberger 1862. To make Lustenberger 1862, we craft by hand in our local dairy, using a recipe that has been handed down through the generations. Once the cheese has been formed, we move it to our family s cellars and age it for 180 days under the loving care of our maîtres affineurs. Only this careful aging will develop the distinct fruity and tangy flavor of Lustenberger 1862. Come taste Lustenberger 1862 a cheese as authentic and true as Switzerland itself.

Legacy of proud dairymen Lustenberger 1862 aromatic and savory Healthy cows, strengthened by the summer on alpine pastures, by lush mountain meadows and cared for by hard-working dairymen. Only with the best raw milk does the Lustenberger 1862 aromatic-savory succeed in being smooth and delicate, natural and simple, traditional and balanced. The alpine dairymen still mount with their cattle up to their mountain pastures in spring to spend the summer in the alpine huts, like it was done for generations. In this traditional environment the ancient methods of cheese-making have been preserved. Lustenberger 1862 aromatic and savory is a cheese following this tradition and created from the gifts of nature. The cheese is matured in the climate of a cave and is cared for and washed regularly. The result is a wonderful cheese with a smooth texture, a flowery smell and a rich taste, mild, aromatic and savory with notes of caramel and milk.

The legendary Swiss original Lustenberger 1862 sweet and nutty The biggest holes, the heaviest wheels this tradition born in the Emmental in the heart of Switzerland today is a worldwide legend. A legend that makes every Lustenberger 1862 sweet and nutty a real treat rich in flavour, a piece of Switzerland s nature and heritage. With farm fresh milk from the local small village dairy we still cultivate the tradition from the Emmental. A Lustenberger 1862 sweet and nutty matures at least 90 days to get its flowery smell, its nutty taste with a touch of vanilla and its smooth texture. To enjoy the excellent flavour to the full, the Lustenberger 1862 sweet and nutty is eaten on any cheese platter, sandwich or salad.
