Write the word biodiversity on the board and ask students what they know about it. Provide some explanation, as well as when it s celebrated (May 22 nd ). Choose one of the videos you checked during preparation and play it to the group. Ask students how they would contribute to biodiversity and how they would like to celebrate the World Biodiversity Day. Divide students into small groups and explain they are going to play a game about food. Distribute the worksheets and explain they are supposed to classify the food according to the categories in the worksheet. Use the pictures to introduce words they don t know. Check which group got more answers correct and solve any vocabulary doubts they might still have.
