Winter 2018 Fargo Country Club News We would like to welcome Aaron Lockwood and Cheryl Nordeen to our kitchen management Staff... Hello, my name is Aaron Lockwood. I have been a member of the Fargo Country Club Staff for 14 years. I have lived in the Fargo- West Fargo area my entire life. I attended culinary school in the late 90 s at Moorhead Tech. I have been fortunate to be the personal chef during the school year since 2010 for the Theta Chi Fraternity members on the NDSU campus. This gives me the opportunity to meet a number of bright and interesting young people. Between work and enjoying our all too short summers, my girlfriend, Jennifer and I are kept busy remodeling our home and trying to keep up with our two dogs, Maddie and Nika. I have seen many changes at the Fargo Country Club over the years and have seen it grow into what it is today. I look forward to assuming my new role as sous chef here and hope to lend my own insight from what I have learned from all the talented people I have worked with throughout my career to try to further improve the club experience for all of our members and their guest for many years to come. Hello, my name is Cheryl Nordeen, I am the new Chef de Cuisine. I grew up by the Duluth area and have been in Fargo since 2010. I ve been a Chef for over 20 years and have worked at Seasons @ Rose Creek as Head Banquet Chef and Sous Chef as well as the Executive Chef at IDK. My work experience has been in various cuisines ranging from Jamaican fare to French pastries. I have an AAS Degree in Culinary Arts and a BS in Business. My six children (three daughters and three sons) are all grown and I ve been blessed with six grandchildren, so far. In my spare time, I practice classical piano and as a vocalist which has been a passion for over 40 years. Personal goals I m pursuing include: studying French, learning to play violin, flight lessons, holistic health living, and finding time to keep up with a saltwater aquarium hobby. The FCC staff would like to extend a sincere Thank You to the members who contributed to the staff holiday fund. No matter the amount, your kindness is appreciated. We work hard to provide the best experience for you, the members, and we are grateful to be recognized for those efforts. Sincerely, The Staff of the FCC You may have noticed the look and timing of the newsletter has changed. It will now be sent quarterly instead of monthly. Don t worry though, we will still keep you up to date with club events through Facebook and our clubster app. Also, watch for our email blast and postings at the club. We will try to limit the emails as to not overwelm your inbox. Let us know if you have not been receiving our emails and we will be happy to get you on the list.

Attention members Would you like to be more involved here at the club? We are currently in need of members to join some our committees including the Finance Committee and the Board. The gift card is good for any purchase at the club and can be used anytime! They never expire!
