Haut Espoir Semillon Reserve 2006 R144 per bottle / R60 per carafe This full-bodied wine has a crisp green colour. The flavours and aromas have layers of green apple and fynbos, carrying through to a palate showing lanolin and limes. Subtle changes to the oaking have imparted complexity and depth to the palate, which is crisp and dry. The finish is long, elegant and crisp. Haut Espoir Viognier 2008 R124 per bottle / R50 per carafe The flavours and aromas are a mixture of tropical fruit such as ripe melon and ginger root. Undertones of peach and honey carry through to the finish which is smooth and elegant. Haut Espoir Chardonnay 2008 R154 per bottle / R60 per carafe This fine wooded wine has a lime green colour with characters of pear, citrus and greengage. As the wine warms up cinnamon and capsicum spiciness develops. The wood lends a toastiness producing a well balanced wine with a big finish with complex structure.
