A Lighter Way of Living Electric Pressure Cooker Recipe

Hungarian Goulash Braised Beef with Tomato Cooking time: 3.5 hours Serves 2 Cooking time: 40 min Serves 2-3 2tsp olive oil 2 onions 2lb beef 1 garlic clove 1tsp caraway 2tsp paprika power 1 tomato 1/2 cup red wine 1 green pepper 1 carrot 1 potato 4 cups beef broth 1. Wash and mince the onions and garlic. 2. Cut the beef, tomato, green pepper, carrot, and potato into small pieces. 3. Add the beef, tomato, onion, potato, and beef broth to the inner pot of pressure cooker. 4. Press the Slow Cook button and set the cooking time to 3 hours (default time: 90 minutes). 5. Once cooking time has finished and the cooker is no longer steaming, open the cover and add the red wine, green pepper, and carrot. Close the cover once all of the ingredients have been added. 6. Press the Soup button (default time: 25 minutes) and let the goulash continue cooking until the timer runs 1 3/4 cups beef 2 tomatoes 2 potatoes 1/2 onion 1 cup carrots 2tsp concentrated tomato paste 2 tbsp olive oil 3 cups water 1. Cut the beef tendon into small (1-2 in) pieces. 2. Blanch the beef in boiling water for 1 minute. 3. Wash and dice the carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, and onions. 4. Add the beef, carrots, and tomato paste in the inner pot of pressure cooker. 5. Pour in water until the beef is completely submerged. 6. Press Meat button and set the cooking time to 25 minutes (default time: 20 minutes). 7. Once cooking time has finished and the cooker is no longer steaming, open the cover and add the tomatoes. 8. Close the cover, press Steam button (default time: 15 minutes), and let the food cook until the timer runs

Coffee Cake Pumpkin Cream Soup Cooking time: 45 min Serves 1 Cooking time: 25 min Serves 2 1/4 cup baking flour 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk 2 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp fine granulated sugar 4 tsp instant coffee 1. Press Rice button to preheat the inner pot for 5 minutes. 2. Separate the egg whites from the yolk. 3. Mix the milk, yolks, and olive oil together thoroughly with a hand blender. 4. Pour the egg whites into mixing bowl. Beat the whites thoroughly until they become foamy, slowly pouring in the sugar. 5. Pour the flour and coffee into a new mixing bowl. Add in all of the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. 6. Pour the batter into the inner pot of pressure cooker. 7. Press Cake button and set the cooking time to 40 minutes (default time: 35 minutes). 8. Leave the cake in the cooker until the timer runs 1 cup pumpkin 1 cup milk 1 cup vegetable stock 1/8 cup heavy cream 1. Peel, deseed, and dice the pumpkin. (You may also use pumpkin purée.) 2. Add the pumpkin, vegetable stock, and milk into a blender and blend thoroughly. 3. Pour the mixture into inner pot of pressure cooker. 4. Press the Soup button and let it cook until the timer runs out (default time: 25 minutes). 5. Once cooking time has finished and the cooker is no longer steaming, open the cover and add the heavy cream. Serve and enjoy.

Tailgate Chili Lamb Chops with Rice Cooking time: 55 min Serves 10 Cooking time: 1 hour Serves 2 1.5lb ground beef 1lb Italian sausage 3 (15oz) cans chili beans, drained 1 can chili beans in spicy sauce 2 cans diced tomatoes 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste 1 large onion 1/2 cup beer 3 stalks celery 2 bell peppers 2 green chiles 1 tbsp bacon bits 4 cubes beef bouillon 1/4 cup chili powder 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp dried oregano 2 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp salt 2 tsp hot pepper sauce 1 tsp dried basil 1 bag corn chips 1 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp white sugar 1 package shredded cheddar cheese 1. Dice the bell peppers, green chiles, and celery. 2. Pour the olive oil into the inner pot, press the Steam button, and set the cooking time to 10 minutes.(default time: 15 minutes) 3. Add in the ground beef and sausage and let cook until evenly browned (keep the cover open). 4. Pour in the remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly. 5. Close the cover, press the Chili button and set the cooking time to 45 minutes (default time: 30 minutes). 6. Once cooking time has finished and the cooker is no longer steaming, open the cover, taste, and adjust salt, pepper, and chili powder if desired. 7. Sprinkle corn chips and shredded cheddar cheese on top. Serve and enjoy. 1 1/4 cup lamb 2 cups rice 2 cups water 1/4 cup carrot 1/2 onion 1tsp soy sauce 2tsp olive oil 1/8 cup cooking wine 1. Clean, drain, and chop the lamb into small pieces. 2. Mix the cooking wine, soy sauce, and olive oil together. Evenly coat the lamb with this mixture and allow it to marinate for 30 minutes. 3. Dice the onion and carrot into small pieces. 4. Add all of the ingredients into the inner pot. 5. Press the Rice button and set the cooking time to 30 minutes (default time: 12 minutes). 6. Leave the food in the cooker until the timer runs

Arroz Rojo (Mexican Red Rice) Cherry Tomato Chicken Cooking time: 40min Serves 2 Cooking time: 1 hour Serves 2-3 2tsp vegetable oil 1 1/2 cups white rice 1 cup tomato sauce 1 tbsp minced garlic 4 cups chicken broth 1 jalapeño pepper, diced 1tbsp ground cumin 1. Pour the vegetable oil into the inner pot, press the Steam button, and set the cooking time to 20 minutes (default time: 15 minutes). Leave the cover open. 2. Pour in the rice, tomato sauce, garlic, jalapeño, and cumin and stir frequently. 3. When the timer runs out, pour in the chicken broth and close the cover. 4. Press Rice button and set the cooking time to 20 minutes (default time: 12 minutes). 5. Leave the food in the cooker until the timer runs 2 lbs chicken 1 1/4 cup cherry tomato 1 onion 3tsp tomato sauce 2tsp olive oil 2tsp grape vinegar 1/2 cup red wine 1 tbsp garlic 1. Dice the onion, mince the garlic, and halve the tomatoes. 2. Cut the chicken into small (1-2 inch) pieces, rub in salt and pepper, and set in a bowl for 30 minutes to marinate. 3. Add all of the ingredients into the inner pot of the pressure cooker and close the cover. 4. Press the Meat button and set the cooking time to 30 minutes (default time: 20 minutes). 5. Leave the food in the cooker until the timer runs

Creamed Chicken with Tarragon Cooking time: 30 min 2 lbs chicken 1 tbsp butter 1tsp olive oil 1 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup white wine 1/4 cup onion 1/2 cup heavy cream 2 tbsp lemon juice 1/4 cup tarragon salt and pepper to taste Yogurt Cooking time: 8 hours 10 minutes Serves 2-3 1. Cut the chicken into small (1-2 in) pieces. Rub in salt and pepper to season if desired. 2. Dice the onion and mince the tarragon. 3. Pour the olive oil into the inner pot, and press the Steam button (default time: 15 minutes). Leave the cover open. 4. Add the chicken to the pot and stir. While the chicken is cooking, add the white wine, onion and chicken broth to a sauce pot and bring them to a boil. 5. Once the mixture has thickened, add in the tarragon leaves and heavy cream. Boil until the mixture thickens again. 6. Add all of the ingredients into the inner pot of the cooker. 7. Close the cover, press Meat button, and set the cooking time to 15 minutes (default time: 20 minutes). 8. Let the food cook until the timer runs out. Serve and enjoy. 1 cup milk 1/4 yogurt 2 tbsp 2 cups water Serves 1 1. Pour the milk into a glass container and mix in the sugar. Place the container in the inner pot of the pressure cooker and pour in the water until it reaches the lip of the container. 2. Close the cover and press down the Rice button to cook for 10 minutes. The milk will be heated to approximately 192 F. 3. Let the milk in the container cool down to approximately 90 F. Add in the yogurt and stir thoroughly. 4. Press the Yogurt button and set the cooking time to 8 hours. 5. Let the yogurt stay in the cooker until the timer runs

Add all of the ingredients into the inner pot of the pressure cooker. 2. Press the Porridge button and set the cooking time to 30 minutes (default time: 25 minutes). 3. Let the food stay in the cooker until the timer runs out. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy. 5 cups oxtail 3/4 cup carrot 3/4 cup tomato 1/4 cup scallion 2 tbsp ginger 2 tbsp garlic 2tsp soy sauce 4 tsp sugar 2tsp olive oil 1 cup water 1. Soak the oxtail in a bowl of water for 30 minutes. 2. Dice the carrots, scallions, and ginger. 3. Pour the olive oil and sugar into the inner pot, press the Steam button and set the cooking time to 10 minutes (default time: 15 minutes). Leave the cover open. 4. When the sugar caramelizes, add the ginger, scallions, carrots, and oxtail to the pan. Toss for several minutes or until the oxtail browns. 5. Add all of the ingredients into the pot and close the cover. 6. Press the Meat button and set the cooking time to 40 minutes (default cooking time: 20 minutes). 7. Let the food stay in the cooker until the timer runs

Braised Mutton Cooking time: 40 min Serves 2-3 2 cups mutton 3/4 cup turnip 3tsp olive oil 2 tbsp cooking wine 2 tbsp chicken broth 2 tbsp scallion 2 tbsp ginger 1 tbsp garlic 2 bay leaves 1tsp cloves 2tsp soy sauce 1/2 cup water 1. Dice the mutation, turnip, scallion, and ginger. 2. Pour the olive oil into the inner pot, press the Steam button, and set the cooking time to 10 minutes (default time 15 minutes). Leave the cover open. 3. Add ginger, wine, scallion, garlic, bay leaves, cloves, soy sauce, chicken broth and mutton to the pot and stir for 2 minutes. 4. Let the food cook until the timer runs out. Close the cover, press the Meat button, and set the cooking time to 30 minutes (default time: 20 minutes). 5. Let the food stay in the cooker until the timer runs
