CORDERO DI MONTEZEMOLO Piedmonte, Italy Since 1340, 19 generations one after another, have managed the Monfalletto property in the town of La Morra, the center of the production of Barolo wine. Even today, the property is entirely family-run. Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo and his children Elena and Alberto are the protagonists of this millennium. The historical single-body vineyard area of 28 hectares (69 acres), rare for the area, extends over all sides of the hill. The land has always been cultivated with the various local varieties, selected and distinctly planted according to sun exposure, type of soil and the altitude.

Fruity, with notes of jam and cherry preserved in alcohol scent, spicy notes of liquorice, aromas of vanilla and faded flowers scent. FLAGSHIP ICONIC EDIZIONE Very deep garnet red. Very intense and persistent with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and hints of mineral. "OPI" MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO RISERVA DOCG Biological Garnet red. VINIFICATION The grapes are hand picked and put into little baskets, then carried to the winery for destemming, double hand selection and soft crushing. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in French and American barriques for approx 24 months. Intense and persistent, spicy (tobacco and jam) aromas of liquorice, fruity and a little ethereal. Full bodied, soft and balanced. Ready to drink upon release or cellaring. Great structure, aromatic and rich tasting, harmonious elegance. 95

Attractive and refreshing on the palate with a long and persistent finish, and an almondy twist at the end. BONACOSTA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOC Bright red with violet reflections. Attractive berry fruit, cherries and cloves on the nose. The palate reveals good structure with the fruitiness first seen on nose, and firm acidity. Long finish. COSTASERA AMARONE CLASSICO DOCG Bright, intense ruby red. Prominent bouquet of ripe berry fruit, sweet and bitter cherries, and hints of plums tinged with spices, such as cinnamon and cloves. Intense and distinctive on the palate, full bodied and attractive, with the richness of the alcohol content well balanced by good supporting acidity. The tannins are well integrated and pervasive, and the long finish brings the fruitiness and spiciness first noticed on the nose to the fore. LE COLLEZIONI SERIES PINOT GRIGIO IGT AREA OF ORIGIN Veneto region. TASTING NOTE The wine has a straw yellow color and, on the nose, it offer floral sensation that recall the aroma of acacia blossom, with hints of pears as well. Its flavour is intense and very well-balanced, with fruity notes of apples and pears. MERLOT IGT AREA OF ORIGIN Veneto and Friuli. The soil is deep alluvial on well exposed hills. Intense red. It displays inviting scents of blackcurrants with hints of plums and herbaceous notes. On the palate it has particularly rounded fruit, underpinned by velvety tannins and with great length and persistence. VALPOLICELLA DOC AREA OF ORIGIN Vineyards located in the Valpolicella hills in the north of Verona. The soil is alluvial and calcareous with clay. Medium bodied red. Pronounced bouquet of raspberries and other red fruits. On the palate it is tangy and well balanced, with brisk acidity and a long finish. 101

FAMIGLIA SERIES VALPOLICELLA DOC AMARONE DELLA VAPOLICELLA DOCG AMARONE MAGNUM DOCG AREA OF ORIGIN Vineyards located on the hillside areas of Valpantena, north eastern part of Valpolicella. The soil is calcareous, flaky debris, and prevalently pebbly. Ruby red. This wine offers intense fruity aromas of wild cherries, vanilla and hints of toasting. A rich, full-bodied wine, round and warm on the palate. AREA OF ORIGIN Vineyards located on the hillside areas of Valpantena, north eastern part of Valpolicella. The soil is calcareous, flaky debris and prevalently pebbly. Deep ruby red. This is an elegant wine with fragrances of currants, blackberries and sweet almonds on the nose with notes of vanilla. Warm and rich with polished, silky tannins and a long finish. 102

ROMEO & JULIET PASSIONE PASSIONE BIANCO GRAPE VARIETIES Garganega 100%. VINIFICATION This white wine is obtained with the appassimento technique: the Garganega grapes are harvested in advance, left to dry in trays for a short time to lose weight, concentrating sugar and aromas. They then macerate for 12 hours to enhance complexity and structure. At the end of the fermentation a part of the wine is matured in wooden barrels for some months before blending and bottling. STYLE An alluring white wine. Intense aromas of citrus fruits, almond and peaches on the nose, followed by a palate which is refreshing and well balanced with a lingering finish. PASSIONE ROSSO GRAPE VARIETIES Dried grapes of Merlot 40%, Corvina 30%, Croatina 30% VINIFICATION The Merlot and Corvina grapes are selected and hand harvested with great care, then left to dry for a month in wooden trays. In thiis dry and well ventilated environment where the humidity level is carefully controlled, the grapes lose around 30% of their water content and gain high sugar concentration. The vinification process takes place in separate steel tanks. Maturation in oak tonneaux (at second use) for 3 months. The grapes are blended and malolactic fermentation follows to harmonize and soften the wine. STYLE Deep ruby red in colour. The nose has intense aromas of red berries with hints of spices. The solid, indestructible stone, soft and malleable, emerges from the subsoil and tangles with the Trulli (typical cylinder shaped houses with a conical roof) across the meadows where the trees are hundreds of years old.
