2K10 BEIJING - TIANJIN nd May 22-31, 2010 st - CHONGQING - YIXING - SHANGHAI In the past few years, The CEO Clubs in China have grown much faster than their USA headquarters. Many friendships have been developed across the sea and today about 150 members of the USA CEO Clubs and 150 members of the CEO Clubs of China have exchanged visits. Many business relationships and joint ventures have developed because of this sharing between two cultures. Please see web sites: http://ceoclubs.org and http://www.globalceoclubs.com for more information. 5 CITIES in 10 DAYS & 9 NIGHTS SCHEDULE ON PAGE 4 ceo clubs, inc. 15 Broad Street, # 1120, NYC 10005-1972 Phone: 212.925.7911 Fax: 212.925.7463 registration@ceoclubs.org ceoclubs.org

2K10 REASONS TO JOIN THE CEO CLUBS IN CHINA pg 2 REASONS TO JOIN THE CEO CLUBS IN CHINA Clubs.!Share ideas with members from the China and USA Chapters of The CEO!Have a banquet dinner with the CEO Club members and government officials in four cities.!visit the Wonders of the World: The Great Wall, The extraordinary Forbidden City in Beijing and the Clay Pottery in Yixing.!This is a unique trip to find bad assets in China, which are available for pennies on the dollars. Also, it will be a chance to have fun while you are making money.!your trip begins in Beijing and ends in Shanghai and everything is paid for 10 days and 9 nights.!special NOTE: you need single entry visas. Our group has been there nearly a dozen times before and we are well known in all of China. We have had enormous media coverage as the Chinese government wants to do business with America. We know the Mayors and our Chinese members know the businesses. Chinese CEOs are anxious to meet you as the USA has made it impossible for many of them to obtain Visa s to visit here. Yet, they are seeking American partners. In China, to do business successfully, you must first make friends, not only with the companies, but with the government and most of all the Mayors. Otherwise the business just doesn t happen profitably. It is a very simple but hard to follow principle for ready-fire-aim type American CEOs. The CEO CLUBS travel first class or as we say, one step above luxury. We are given police escorts, access to private communist only hotels and front page media coverage. We do business by day and play as tourists by night. Of the 850 CEOs who have come on past trips, all agree, it is the trip of a lifetime.

SUMMARY BEIJING - TIANJIN - pg 3 CHONGQING - YIXING - SHANGHAI Citizens of America need a single entry visa, which is $75 and is best obtained by going to Google. There is no visa required to enter Hong Kong and you can get a China visa in Hong Kong in a few hours for more money. We will be in climates from north to south in May, which parallel Maine to Florida, so bring appropriate clothing. Bring an extra suitcase full of small gifts to exchange. You will need the extra suitcase on the way back. These fares, heavily subsidized by the Chinese government, are for two people sharing a room and coach class tickets. We also have a special first class option, which includes first class internal China tickets, private translators, airport security clearance, and hotel suites; if you are interested. You get your own flights to and from China and we do the rest. We need your airline flights to pick-you-up and your passport numbers for the hotels. We stay at five star hotels. We strongly advise getting a loaded China cell phone. You can call anywhere in China and the USA with this phone. We will give you the cell phone numbers of all other members on the trip. It is especially useful for partners, husbands/wives to stay in touch while in China. This phone number is the best way to have your USA friends call you. The phone can be recharged for heavy use with a credit card. The fee for the rental and charger is between $250 and $300.00. When its noon in China (they have one time zone) it is midnight in New York. Remember this is China and they operate much differently than the USA. Please expect schedule changes. We need your photo and bio to put on our website www.ceoclubs.org and to translate and put on www.globalceoclubs.com so business opportunities are optimized. Always keep your hotel room key with you, as a non- English speaking taxi drivers will get you back to the hotel. Most Chinese CEOs do not speak English and a small dictionary (conversion) can be useful. We like www.skype.com to make free phone calls from computer to computer. We will have Internet access at all locations. Consider reading Mancuso s China Picture Book before you land in China. Doing business in China is complicated. Making money in China is difficult. Many members drop out and rejoin the trip. Please inform us of these type changes, both planned and unplanned. We are here to find business opportunities first and have fun second. The schedule will change frequently to optimize these business opportunities.

Under construction in China now is an interconnected network of over thirty high speed train projects. It is the type of project that builds infrastructure and creates jobs and benefits everyone. The CEO CLUB is proud to be consultants to both the central governments Ministry of Railways and the largest high speed train manufacturer (China Railway Construction Corporation) with 250,000 employees. The Club is following up President Osama s recent China visit by advising on building a high speed train for Los Angeles to Los Vegas, non-stop, in 84 minutes. The trips from Beijing to Tianjin will be 28 minutes on a high speed train. It will let you see how cleverly the Chinese are growing their economy first hand and it will be the story you tell when you return to the USA. It is very impressive. We will be special guests coming and going of both our high speed train clients.

BEIJING Beijing (pronounced /beɪˈdʒɪŋ/ or /beɪˈʒɪŋ/ in English; Chinese: 北京 ; pinyin: Běijīng, IPA: [pèɪtɕíŋ] (also known as Peking (/piːˈkɪŋ/ or /peɪˈkɪŋ/) is a metropolis in northern China and the capital of the People's Republic of China. Governed as a municipality under direct administration of the central government, Beijing borders Hebei Province to the north, west, south, and for a small section in the east, and Tianjin Municipality to the southeast. Beijing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. Beijing is China's second largest city after Shanghai, with more than 17 million people in Beijing's area of jurisdiction. The city is divided into 16 urban and suburban districts and two rural counties; the city's urban area has about 13 million residents. Beijing is a major transportation hub, with dozens of railways, roads and motor ways passing through the city. It is also the destination of many international flights arriving in China. Beijing is recognized as the political, educational, and cultural center of the People's Republic of China, while Shanghai and Hong Kong predominate in economic fields. The city hosted the 2008 Olympic Games. Few cities in the world besides Beijing have served as the political and cultural center of an area as immense as China for so long. The Encyclopedia Britannica describes it as "one of the world's great cities,"and declares that the city has been an integral part of China's history for centuries; there is scarcely a major building of any age in Beijing that doesn't have at least some national historical significance. Beijing is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, and huge stone walls and gates. Its art treasures and universities have long made the city a centre of culture and art in China. pg 9

TIANJIN Tianjin is one of the four municipalities in China. Its name means 'the place where the emperor crossed the river'. In recent years Tianjin has received more and more attention from both tourists at home and abroad due to its numerous travel resources and rich history. pg 10 It is no exaggeration to say that Tianjin bears a splendid historical background. However, it was desecrated by foreign invaders long before the foundation of People's Republic of China. Tianjin was shared by nine countries: Italy, Germany, France, Russia, Great Britain, Austria, Japan and Belgium. This marked an extremely hard period for Tianjin and her people because those imperialist countries left permanent marks in her body, most notable of which were thousands of villas. Today those villas provide an exotic flavor to Tianjin, enhancing the beauty of the entire city. Blessed with variety of tourist attractions, Tianjin is a good place to explore. The top ten attractions in Tianjin, known as Jinmen Shijing, are Gu Wenhua Jie, Dagu Emplacement, Huangyaguan Great Wall, Dule Temple, Haihe River, Water Park, Panshan Mountain, Hotel Street and Food Street, Tianjin TV & Radio Tower and Zhonghuan Cailian. There are also many natural scenes of beauty as well as great historical events. Getting in and out of the city is convenient because of the wellplanned transportation system. If you want to come by water, there are a series of international and domestic sea routes in the port of Tianjin, which is the biggest man-made port in China. If you plan to arrive by air, Tianjin Binhai International Airport offers excellent service. Planes have routes that reach most of the major cities in China and also cities in Europe and America. Of course, arriving in Tianjin by land is another option, while trains or long-distance buses are yet another alternative.

CHONGQING Chongqing is a port city with the largest municipal area and population in China. It is situated in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in southwest China. With an area of 82,400 square kilometers (31, 800 square miles), Chongqing shares borders with the provinces of Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Shaanxi. Besides the Han who form the majority of its total population of 30.9 million, numerous ethnic groups reside in Chongqing, including Yi, Tibetan, Miao, Qiang, You and Tujia. pg 11 Since its founding 3,000 years ago, Chongqing has been called Jiangzhou, Yuzhou, and Gongzhou, before getting its present name nearly 800 years ago. Since the Qin Dynasty (221 BC-206 BC), many dynasties have set up administrative institutions that have endowed the city with brilliant cultures. Perched beside the Yangtze, the "Golden River," Chongqing symbolizes Yangtze River civilizations and is the cradle of Bayu culture. Today, Chongqing is a modern city, China's fourth municipality after Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin. Within its borders Chongqing encompasses a wealth of water reserves, mineral resources, dense forests, and abundant flora and fauna. The focal point of the unique Yangtze Three Gorges Dam, Chongqing is a tourist attraction as well as a commercial city. Chongqing attracts visitors from home and abroad for its cultural heritage and other tourist attractions. The city is the starting point for the Yangtze River Cruise, which explores the stunning scenery of the Three Gorges. Other attractions include the Dazu Rock Carvings, valuable works of art carved during the Ninth Century, Gold Buddhist Mountain, a rich repository of diverse animals and plants; and Fishing Town, one of three ancient battlefields in China. Ancient Ci Qi Kou village lures tourists to linger in its streets to buy handicraft souvenirs. Additionally, Chongqing is famous for its hot Sichuan cuisine and world-famous hotpot dishes. Street vendors as well as restaurants feature exciting spicy delicacies for the adventurers. Servicing western China, Chongqing provides convenient water, land, and air transportation. Hundreds of star-ranked hotels provide excellent facilities and services. Chongqing is ready to be the pilot in the Western China Development to usher in more investors and visitors.

Yixing China is less than two hours from Shanghai and less than one hour from Nanjing. It is a small city and is not frequented by Americans. Subsequently, prices are low and its location between a lake and mountain give it a spectacular setting. We will be guests of the most successful entrepreneur in the area, whose main business is manufacturing wire and cable. He has a half dozen other businesses and the city is ripe with opportunities. The Bamboo forest produces spectacular furniture and hardwood floors. The unusual clay makes China most valuable tea pots and the Pagoda forest is in the center of the town. We will stay at a five star hotel operated by the government, Yixing Hotel. This is real China and not at all like the major coastal cities. We will meet by the river and lake and again in the mountain resort. Yixing is a county-level city in Jiangsu province, in eastern China with a population of less than two million. It is well-known for its Yixing clay to make Yixing clay teapot (also called Zisha - Purple Sand) teapots and bamboo forests. Administratively it is part of the city of Wuxi. YIXING pg 12

SHANGHAI Shanghai, Hu for short, is a renowned international metropolis drawing more and more attention from all over the world. Situated on the estuary of Yangtze River, Shanghai serves as the most influential economic, financial, international trade, cultural, science and technology center in East China. Also it is a popular tourist destination which is ideal for visitors to feel the impulse of the modern development of China. pg 13 Beside the modernization, the multi-cultural feature endows Shanghai with unique glamour. Here one can find the perfect blend of cultures, including the modern and the traditional as well as the western and the oriental. New skyscrapers and old Shikumen lanes together draw the skyline of Shanghai. Western customs and Chinese traditions jointly form the interesting Shanghai culture, which make your stay in the city truly memorable.
