About Our Company History and Experience as a Professional Service Northern Vending opened its doors in 1990 in Ann Arbor and has been providing goods and services to business throughout Michigan for more than two decades. Northern Vending Co. has grown from its beginning through the direction of owner Randy Rubin and a dedicated team of professionals. We began locally in Ann Arbor and built a strong base of local key throughout Lower Michigan such as city government, health care organizations, new technology startups, car dealerships and manufacturing. Strategic alliances were formed with our suppliers to bring value and variety to our product line. The resulting growth from 10 years of increase required us moving to a new larger location. In 2007, we purchased Acme Vending and some routes from other competitors adding another 180 locations. We also expanded our solutions in office coffee and water service and created our Healthy Living, Healthy Business slogan and Northern Healthy Tips snack program. By 2008, we added a sales and management team with over 20 years experience in office coffee vending and food service, creating a stronger more vibrant profile for marketing and sales. In 2013 we initiated Micromart services with many new offerings and the latest technology that set us apart from our competitors. Now, Northern Vending is a top ten privately owned vending service with over 600 locations in 13 counties. We have grown through our great product line with over 1200 skews and many new technology applications. Staying creative and fluid in market trends and new concepts has kept us on top of the competition. We are thankful to our customers and believe 2015 will be a great year as well.

The Latest Technology Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Bill Recycler Our credit card readers serve a dual purpose for use with your card or use your smart phone. Cards Accepted:.10 cent user fee per transaction. Visa Debit is also accepted as well. Northern Vending installs state of the art readers from USA Technologies, the nation s largest secure wireless credit card provider. Credit is fast and easy. The vending machines will still accept cash for those who prefer to purchase that way. The bill recycler can be mounted in most of the machine models and types. To use, insert a large bill ($20 or $10) into the recycler, press the coin return button, your change will come back in fives. We place a sticker like the one below on the machine to let customers know that the machine has a recycler for them to use to break bills. It has no cost to you, our customer. Breaking large bills is now easy and fast. Ask for a recycler for your installation.

Vending Commission Option Program Option for Commissions on Sales Vending commissions are a portion of the sales that goes back to the customer. We can calculate that in to your pricing and build sales several ways. Machine Meter: Our professional driving staff reads the meter on the beverage machine and records it every visit when restocking. Processing: All drivers report meter readings at our Driver Check-in station. The meters in the driver s book are typed into your account directly by the driver the same day of the restocking. Tabulation: Meter readings are tabulated for each machine over a month period for each vend, and then totaled and your percentage is completed. Our drivers use a daily route book which has the product planograms for that day and the different product needs. Readings are written into the route book on each machine. Subsidy readings are then reported at the end of the day.
