TIPS AND TRICKS FOR MAKING COOKIES A good hand mixer can be used instead of a stand mixer A deep freezer can make things a lot easier Use a scoop for portioning out the cookies Make cookie dough balls and freeze them. Bake for an extra minute Freeze finished wrapped cookies Scramble and freeze eggs in ice cube trays to keep them fresh longer Freeze heavy cream in ice cube trays too Bake on parchment paper for the cookies to spread out, bake on silicone mat for the cookie to be more puffy Sell 5in cookies for $5 (I found silicone molds at Dollar Tree) Sell 10in cookies for $20 (I use a cheesecake pan) Use return address labels to make a tag for each cookie Store ingredients in plastic storage containers to keep them fresh and bug free

OTHER MONEY MAKERS WE HAVE TRIED Homecoming Court: For the last two years my class has run the voting for homecoming court. We purchase the sashes and crowns and make a little profit from charging a fee to run for the court Dog Treats: We tried making dog treats last year. We had an issue with some of the treats molding soon after people purchased them. We also had a lot of people sign up their dogs to taste test the items, but very few actually purchased the treats when we had them for sale.
