Verdejo grape, the queen ariety of the region. The blend between verdejo grape and extreme continental climate produce a unique and singular wines. This combination can t be founded in some other part pf the world. Can be said that verdejo variety and its wines define perfectly the landscape where are produced. The small bounches and grains together with the thick and hard skin are the waepons to defend against the climate and brings to the wine a structured palate and a lovely aromatic balanceof herns and fruity aromas. Vineyards planted at 820m of altitude in sandy and very poor soils. Original, fresh, sandy soil and vineyards in altitude.
Tasting notes. Straw yellow bright and clean colour with green hints. Good intensity in aroma, elegant, complex and fresh with the typical notes from the variety: fennel, anisette and balsamic togeher with white fruit aromas. Good structure in the mouth due to the ageing on lees, is fresh and creamy, direct with a good acidity, elegancy and long finish. Ideal as apperitive, works also extremely well with fish, risotto, pasta, cheese and white meat. Service temperature: 8º-10ºC. Wine making. 75% of the volume: fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. Vineyards. Vineyards planted 25 years ago in very sandyand limestone saoils rounded by pine forest at 850 m of altitude Wine making. Half of the volume is fermented and aged in french old oak barrels with its lees and the rest, is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in 750 liters clay amphorae for 10 months. Estructure, crianza, round, complex.
Tasting notes. Clean and brillant straw yellow color with green hints. Elegant and complex aroma with typical notes from the variety: fennel, scrub together with dry fruits, apricot, grapefruit, wax and honey. In the mouth has a good structure, and it s big, velvety and creamy balanced with a lovely acidity. Elegant and long.
