The bartender fee will be waived on hosted bars if the beverage revenue exceeds $500 per bar. OHIO LIQUOR LAWS Under Ohio law, the hotel is the only licensed authority to sell and serve alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises, therefore, non-hotel provided beverages may not be brought in or consumed in any hotel meeting or event spaces. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to posses or consume alcoholic beverages and must present a valid government photo ID upon request from the hotel staff. Hotel reserves the right to refuse service to guests that in its judgment are intoxicated.
EVENT DETAILS FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUMS A food and beverage minimum is the dollar amount that must be spent on food and beverage during your reception to avoid a room rental charge. The minimum does not include service charge or sales tax. RECEPTION HOURS Friday Evenings 6PM Midnight Saturday Afternoons 10AM 3PM Saturday Evenings 6PM Midnight Sundays Up to 6 Hours Between 9AM and 11PM DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE A $1,000 non-refundable booking deposit is required with a signed contract to confirm the space for the event. All deposits are nonrefundable and are applied towards the final event balance. At the time equal to half the time between signing the agreement and the date of the event, fifty percent of the food and beverage minimum is due. The final payment is due seven business days prior to the event, and is based upon the guaranteed attendance for the reception, set menu, and is inclusive of all service charges and sales tax. MENU SELECTION & TASTINGS Menus may be selected at any time during the planning process, although the hotel does require that all details for menus be complete at least thirty days prior to the event. To assist in the menu selection, a tasting may be requested for up to three salads and three entrées. Tastings are portioned for two guests. Hors d oeuvres are excluded from tastings. Additional tasting servings are $25 each. Tastings are scheduled based on availability between 2pm and 4pm Tuesdays- Fridays. EVENT COORDINATION Upon booking the event, you will be provided with an event manager from the hotel that will assist in the coordination of the event details. The event manager is not responsible for the details of third party vendors. GUEST ROOM BLOCKS A discounted room rate may be offered for a block of guest rooms to assist out-of-town guests with overnight accommodations. The rate is discounted from the best available rate of the day through the reservations department, and may at times be higher than some of the limited number of Internet, AARP, AAA and other discounted rates available at specific times. PARKING Parking is complimentary.
