State based events include seminars, expos, peer support group meetings, as well as activities specifically designed for children, teenagers and seniors. Coeliac Awareness Week is held during March each year. Events and publicity opportunities often arise out of this. Coeliac Australia produces a myriad of resources, books and brochures that are an excellent avenue for promotion. Towards the end of the year, each state hosts either a family fun day or a Christmas party for members and their families. These are much anticipated events, with a sample bag given to all our coeliac children! The excitement and joy on the children s faces makes this a rewarding activity to be part of. For state specific opportunities, please contact the relevant state office directly. Alternatively, for opportunities across multiple states or nationally, email info@coeliac.org.au, or visit www.coeliac.org.au/advertising for more information.
