The festival is a celebration of all the elements that make the border and rth East so special. The event has become a regional showcase to promote and celebrate our regional produce, products and food industry and to also provide a total festival experience to the residents and visitors of our region. We are seeing products that are unique and of quality, grown, scoured or produced from our region and beyond. We are aiming for a diverse variety of products that provide an engaging and unique experience for our visitors. All additional equipment including tables, tablecloths, chairs and display materials are to be provided by the stallholder. FOOD STALLS: All food stalls (fresh or pre-packaged) must have a current Victorian Food Registration certificate and a Statement of Trade for the event. ALCOHOL STALLS: Stallholders selling alcohol must have their own temporary liquor licence for the event licences can be purchased from http://www.vcglr.vic.gov.au/home/liquor/new+applicants/apply/apply_for_a_temporary_limited_licence OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: Selection of stallholders is at the discretion of Wodonga Institute of TAFE All stallholders must have their own Public Liability Insurance Any illegal activities on the day will cause immediate ejection from the event, and loss of any fees paid. Completion of this application form constitute acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by the stallholder Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. SELECTION CRITERIA The approval process will incorporate the following selection criteria, vendors will be notified in writing if their application is successful. Please provide details to demonstrate how you meet this criteria. REGIONAL FOCUS AND QUALITY The rth East Food and Wine Festival provides a platform for local producers and businesses to showcase their products to our region s residents and visitors. The event s focus is to have a wide variety of unique and quality products on offer that have been grown, produced or originate from our region. Please select which category your products best fit: Regional produce Hand-made products Gourmet food and / or beverage stall Other services associated with local products or produce 1. Please provide details on how your product identifies with the category 2. Preference to regional stallholders, businesses, community groups, non-profit organisations who support our community. Please describe how you will demonstrate economic benefit to the rth east. i.e. Use staff that reside in the area, goods / equipment you use will come from a supplier within the rth East. 3. Wodonga TAFE cannot guarantee product or service exclusivity to any stallholder, and will endeavour to provide a variety and range of vendors to suit the demographic attending the event. 4. Sites will not be offered to stallholders who have any outstanding payments or unresolved issues regarding previous Wodonga TAFE events. DETAILS OF PRODUCT OR SERVICE Please provide an exact listing of products or services to be sold or promoted from your stall. Where possible, please provide pictures of products, or reference to your website / Facebook with examples. PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE: Do you have Public Liability Insurance? Minimum of $10,000,000 cover required for stall holders. Have you attached your certificate of currency? Stallholders must supply certificate of currency once they have been notified that their application has been successful. Stallholders who do not supply certificate of currency will forfeit their site, and will be unable to attend the event. DO YOU REQUIRE A POWER OR WATER SOURCE FOR YOUR STALL? Power and water is limited at the venue, we encourage all stallholders to supply their own power. STALLHOLDER BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Stallholders that have been accepted to attend the festival will receive a link to pay for their stall online. Full payment must be received by 13th February 2017 to prevent loss of stall allocation. 2. It will be the discretion of Wodonga Institute of TAFE s Events coordinator to refuse any stall. Acceptance of your stallholder booking will be confirmed in writing, you will also receive a stallholder information pack, outlining your requirements as a stallholder. 3. Food vendors must hold a Victorian Food Registration Certificate and a Statement of Trade for the event; if you don t have one go to www.streatrader.health.vic.gov.au to register. 4. Wodonga Institute of TAFE reserves the right to rearrange the site plan, and / or reallocate stalls without prior notice. 5. Stalls will be allocated upon receipt of booking form, payment and public liability insurance. 6. If using generator, please ensure that the power is adequate for at least seven hours. Please ensure that generators are compliant with Australian standards. 7. Each stallholder is required to be self-sufficient and supply their own shade structure. Wodonga Institute of TAFE does not have trolleys, tables, chairs, tape, weights, pegs, power cords or powers boards to loan. 8. All stalls must remain set up and intact until the event closes at 5pm. Due to OH&S regulations, events staff will inform stallholders when vehicles will be able to have access to bump-out. 9. Stallholders are not permitted to pack down their stalls / displays before 5pm. All stallholders must cease to trade after 5pm. 10. Stallholders will be responsible for any damage they cause to the area they occupy. The cost of loss or damage will be charged to the stallholder should any damage occur. 11. Please make sure all gas equipment is safe and compliant. 12. obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour will be permitted in any part of Wodonga Institute of TAFE s event. 13. Wodonga Institute of TAFE and its employees are not responsible or liable for any loss or damages sustained by the stallholder. 14. Stallholders must ensure that any structures are installed in a safe manner at their allocated lot. 15. Vehicular access to Junction Square is via Church Street only. 16. Under no circumstances are vehicles to drive over the rectangular in-ground strip lights, embedded in the paved area. Vehicles must straddle the strip lights when accessing and exiting the site. Failure to do so may cause damage to the lights with any repair costs being the responsibility of the stallholder. 17. There is limited space for vehicles to remain on-site for the duration of the event, if your vehicle forms part of your stall, please outline this in your application. guarantees will be made that you may keep your vehicle on-site. 18. Stallholders who are cooking, preparing food and barbequing must provide some form of protection from oil spills and general stains on the paving.
