WHO IS MCHEF? Marie-Dominique Rail is a 2003 graduated Chef of ITHQ Culinary School in Montreal Canada and has worked as a chef as well as in the food wholesale and retail business since 1997. 20 years of passion in this amazing field, working markets and consumer awareness and availability of allergens free herbs and spice blends. Founder and president of MCHEF Inc., Marie-Dominique has built a business in an 5 year R&D process clean label gastronomic allergen-free herbs and spice blends to enhance cuisine, pastry and cocktail flavors for private labelling, the food service sector and the retail consumer market. Marie-Dominique had developed over a 2 year span an innovative and creative packaging for longer life, optimizing freshness and maintaining quality. Marie-Dominique was inspired by ethnic cuisines of the world; she constantly tracks food trends in R&D to support innovative food technologies for a better health. It is this infinite passion for a better quality product that strives Marie-Dominique in achieving superior results in each and every food recipe.

OUR MISSION: the << allergen-free >> trend Over the last 3 years, on the global scale, the << allergen-free >> trend is fast becoming a common request if not a consumer demand in the food service industry. At the retail level, a certain number of allergens are targeted but not the whole array of the 12 allergens accredited. The consumer needs to be informed and thus, the products sold must show traceability (provenance) on the packaging. MCHEF's mission meets this demand and the requirement from all sectors, markets and ultimately the consumers of our products. We are currently making headway with our herbs and spices in health centers and health care centers to improve the quality of the food consumed in these establishments and hence to better serve all communities. PREMIUM QUALITY Premium herbs, grains and spices are imported from around the world. The grinding, the sieving and cleaning are done locally in Montreal, Canada, to ensure the continuum of premium quality herbs and spices that in general meet higher standards than those required by the industry. In order to ensure low microbiologic counts, MCHEF prefers to treat spices by irradiation process and herbs by steam sterilization. MCHEF herbs and spice blends are gluten free, filler free, allergen-free, Trans fat free, nut free, peanut free, sulfate free, soy free, egg free, sesame free, dairy free, MSG free, GMO free and low in sodium. HACCP and GFSI Certifications. Kosher and Vegan.

Each blend contains about 15 ingredients dosed to perfection!

INNOVATIVE PACKAGING The packaging is a specialized vacuumsealed zipper lined with an aluminum layer to preserve herbs and spices from light, moisture and ambient air and keep them longer than 18 months! It took 2 years of process to make it happen! Way to go!
