The Hurtwood Event Hurtwood Park Polo Club has over 150 acres of land: Polo pitches, forests and even a lake. This privately owned polo club, with over 300 members hosts an active social calendar including Polo Tournaments, festivals and music nights. Our main event space is The Clubhouse. The converted English barn has natural daylight with patio doors leading on to the terrace overlooking the Surrey Hills and Polo Pitches. This can be hired on exclusive use basis only, so only your event and the occasional polo match will be on the site, giving you privacy and the feeling of intimacy.
What can you do at Hurtwood Park Polo Club Well just about anything. We have our own in house chef creating menus designed from produce by local suppliers. Each menu is to tailor made to your requirements, from a working lunch to a three course sit down meal. Try something different such as an argentine ASADO a real polo spectacular and our BBQ s are legendary in the area. The Hurtwood Activities Hurtwood Park Polo Club grounds include 5 polo pitches, Ancient woodland and a 2 acre lake. This is the perfect event space for any team building activities. Team Building: Not many venues already have a 4 x 4 Course and a lake to see if your raft floats. In the 150 acres we have the ability to do almost anything. Events that we have hosted in the past : It s a Knock Out Challenge : Treasure Hunts : Team Skills, 4 x 4 challenges, Motorized Sports Day, Shooting, Learn to Play Polo Learn to play Polo Imagine sitting on a horse, travelling very fast with a stick in your hand trying to hit a ball before someone crashes into you! Expert instructors will teach you the basic rules and theory of polo, including ball hitting, polo riding, hocking and riding off. After lunch you will have a chance to put all you have learnt in some chukkas and learn to love the fast paced game of polo.
Hurtwood Entertains As you drive down the 2 mile driveway with Polo pitches on your side you will see the magnificent clubhouse. All menus are tailor made to your requirements and with accommodation locally this is the perfect celebration venue. There are many options to being able to host your event at here. The Club House: Dinner dance for 80 guests is perfect in the clubhouse under the exposed beams and with view over the polo pitches. Have drinks on the patio and then after the delicious meal dance the night away. A marquee on the patio will allow you to hold a dinner dance up to 250. Entertaining at the Polo: A marquee on the is a perfect way to entertain clients or a staff Thank you. Hire the clubhouse or have your own marquee for one of the Polo Matches.
