Congratulations and thank you for considering a Winter wedding here at Parnells on the Rose Garden. These are available from May to September inclusive. For Winter weddings the Panorama Suite is available for the ceremony where guests can enjoy drinks and canapés before moving downstairs to the Myer Suite for the Wedding Breakfast. We can also arrange the ceremony in the garden on a pleasant day. Our costs are inclusive of G.S.T and include venue hire, all staff costs, white linen, silverware and candelabras, with silver service and chair covers for the bridal table. We are a fully licensed venue, however if you have a favourite wine that is not on our list we will endeavour to source it for you. Sample menus and costs are enclosed, however we believe that a wedding is a very personal occasion and you are invited to visit the venue to discuss your individual requirements. CAPACITY: UPSTAIRS(Panoramama Suite) Seats up to 80 guests plus a conservatory area with floor to ceiling windows allowing panoramic views over the Rose Gardens. GROUND FLOOR (Myer Suite) Seats up to 120 guests or 200 guests for a cocktail wedding. Double doors open out to a large veranda leading to the rose garden where guests can mingle for hors d oeuvres and pre-dinner drinks. Listing separate prices for all your wedding reception costs (such as venue hire and staff costs) can become confusing at times. To make things simple we include all our charges as one single price per guest. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How do we arrange to get married in the Parnell Rose Gardens? A: This is arranged by the Auckland City Council, through the Events Centre Division. You can contact them on phone: (09) 379-2030 Q: If we have our wedding ceremony in the Parnell Rose Gardens, can a table and chairs, etc. be supplied by Parnells Rose for the ceremony? A: Yes, a table can be arranged at no charge. If chairs are required, these can also be provided (up to a maximum of 30 chairs) and are charged at $5 per chair. Q: Can we bring in our own beverages? A: We are a fully licensed venue. However, if you have a special toasting wine / bubbly that you wish to supply for the toasts, then a corkage fee of $12 per bottle applies. Q: What about music / entertainment? A: We can recommend various musicians / entertainers and organise them for your reception upon your request or you can arrange your own. Q: What about flowers / additional decorations? A: We can recommend florists/theme artists. They can arrange table centrepieces for you from approximately $50 per table and they can offer you other ideas if you have a theme in mind. Alternatively, you can organise your own. Q: Can we make a tentative booking? A: Yes and we will hold the booking for 7 days, after which time a deposit of $2000.00 will be required to confirm your booking. Q: What are the charges for children? A: Children 9 years and under - half the adult price, and in a high chair - no charge.
