I have made many trips to Dehua in the last decade and never realize the interesting culture and long history of ceramic making. In fact, Dehua is the Ceramic Capital of China. I was invited by a factory to visit Dehua Ceramic Museum which is located in the western part of the city. The huge statue at the front of the Ceramic Museum was the ceramic founder: Master He Caozhong. He was born in the Song Dynasty (1400 years ago), which means Dehua has history of producing ceramic products is over 1400 years. These are pictures of statues to show the procedure of ceramic production. Bob Zhu 1. dig out clay and deliver to production area 2. use wooden struction to mill the clay 3. use hand to make biscut 4. dip into glaze for color and glazing 5. dry and fi nal refi ne the procuts 6. put into fire container and take to kiln for fi re 7. after over 20 hours fire, take out from fi re 8. packing

Make each bunny unique by shaping the ears a bit differently for each one. INGREDIENTS 1 can (13 oz) Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls With Icing 8 semisweet chocolate chips 4 red baking chips or candy-coated chocolate candies 8 almond slices DIRECTIONS 1. Heat oven to 350 F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. 2. Place 4 rolls on cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart. Unwind remaining 4 rolls in to long dough strips. For each bunny, place one dough strip, cut ends together, next to a whole roll. Press and fi rmy pinch cuts ends into top of whole roll. Shape strip into fl oppy bunny ears. 3. On each bunny, place two chocolate chips for eyes, 1 red baking chip for nose and 2 almond slices for teeth; press fi rmly into dough. 4. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack. Spread frosting on warm rolls. Serve warm.
