REDUCE has been manufactured with minimal Green House Gasses (GHG) and is comparable with other standard wine closures. A preliminary Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study of the manufacture of this closures in commercial quantities has shown that GHG emissions are projected to be: = 0.06 Kg CO 2 -e/unit RECYCLE is made from low density polyethylene; one of the most commonly used plastics in the global food packaging industry. The closures is coded with an international material identification code (4) and can be placed with other recycling items for regular council collection. is 100% recyclable. It can be discarded with other plastics to make recycled plastic materials such as plastic lumbar, for use in outdoor public furniture, bollards, retaining walls or fencing.

Bottling 5.1 can be applied at high speed using change parts for standard capping equipment. Not all machines are alike. If the concept in this schematic does not suit your machine please contact your local supplier for a customised solution. OR METHODS Semi-automatic - for short runs & trials (100-10,000 bottles), by hand placing closures onto the bottle and using a modified machine to press the closure onto the bottle. HAND FEED MACHINE FEED CHUTE CAPPING HEAD CAP FEEDER BOWL Automatic - for production runs (>10,000 bottles), by adapting existing machines with simple change parts. Machine Change Parts CUSTOMER SUPPLIED OR Conversion of a standard bottling machine is made with the following; Overhead feeder bowl orients and feeds the closures into a vertical cap chute. A dispenser allows the bottles to pickoff a closure as it passes through (similar to screw cap systems). Change-over capping head presses the closure onto the bottle as the pedestal lifts the bottle into the centering dome. Note: Corking jaws should be removed. CAPPING HEAD 5.3 The Capping Head can be adapted to fit most types of single or multi-head bottling machines BOOT 60kgf SPRING OPTIONAL SET SCREW LOCATIONS BRASS PIN 15 62 STAINLESS BODY 5 DATUM A 3 x M5 SET SCREW The CAPPING HEAD for replaces the centering cone or capping head of a bottling machine. It is designed to be easily adapted to suit most types of corking, screw capping, poly-stopper or crown sealing machines. The Capping Head can be fitted to most machines via an ADAPTOR. Adaptors must be custom made to suit each machine to hold the Capping Head on centre with the bottle. One Adaptor is required for each head of your machine. B 3 x M5 SET SCREW As the pedestal lifts the bottle, or the machine head lowers, the Capping Head gently presses the closure onto the bottle. The spring loaded pin holds the closure stable during the application process and ensures it is correctly applied to the bottle. (see bottling video at zork.com.au) NOTE: Capping Heads are specifically designed to control the application of. We recommend the use of a "manufacturer approved" Capping Head available from your closure supplier. Use of an un-approved device may void warranties. External dimensions must be machined to suit each individual bottling machine. Internal dimensions must be machined to the suit the Capping Head.
