WE VE HAD ANOTHER TERRIFIC 12 MONTHS AT JIM BARRY WINES. THE HIGHLIGHT WAS TAKING HOME TWO TROPHIES FOR THE 2013 THE BARRY BROTHERS AT THE 2014 ROYAL MELBOURNE AND ROYAL QUEENSLAND WINE SHOWS. WHAT MAKES ME PROUDER IS THAT THIS IS THE FIRST WINE DEVELOPED BY MY SONS TOM AND SAM. PETER BARRY WHEN YOU SPEAK WITH SMITHY AND CARPS ABOUT THEIR WINEMAKING PHILOSOPHY, THERE IS A CONTINUING THEME OF LETTING THE FRUIT SHINE. THEY WANT OUR WINES TO LOOK BRIGHT AND LIVELY IN THE GLASS AND REFLECT THE SITE OR VINEYARD THAT SPAWNED THEM.
