Timber Species : Fees for all types of timber (except poles and firewood) shall be the stumpage value. Stumpage means the price paid for the right to harvest and remove timber species from the forest. (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) Class I Pole means timber in round form having a girth over 30cm (12 inches) and up to 45cm (18 inches) at 60cm (2 feet) from the butt end. Class II Pole means timber in round form having a girth over 10cm (4 inches) and up to 30cm (12 inches) at 60cm (2 feet) from the butt end. Class III Pole means timber in round form having a girth below 10cm (4 inches) at 60cm (2 feet) from the butt end. Fence Post means a Class I or Class II Pole not exceeding 2.5 meters (8 feet) in length and 45cm (18 inches) in girth at 60cm (2 feet) from the butt end. 2. The Notification published in Gazette Extraordinary, No. 1303/17 dated 28th August, 2003 is hereby rescinded. 05-380/1 L.D.B. 203/33.
