History Lobkowicz Palace was built in the second half of the 16th century. After being lost and recovered twice during the th century, Lobkowicz Palace was opened to the public by the Lobkowicz family following more than four years of planning, restoration, and refurbishment. Today, it houses the Lobkowicz Palace Museum and serves as an enchanting venue for private and corporate events. Collections For seven centuries, the Lobkowicz family supported artists and culture. The result is one of the most culturally significant collections of art and archival materials in Central Europe. Highlights include world-famous paintings by Brueghel, Canaletto, and Rubens; exquisite ceramics from the 16th century and original manuscripts from many great composers, including Beethoven and Mozart.
