Food Allergy Meal System for students with food allergies Preferred Meals is pleased to offer a worry-free Food Allergy Meal System for accommodating students with food allergies. These unique, kid-friendly meals are free of gluten and the top 8 allergens: wheat, egg, dairy, soy, peanut, tree-nut, fish and shellfish for an error-free breakfast or lunch that provides peace of mind to school administration as well as parents. The easy-to-follow system follows a 5-day menu cycle packed in a 4 cycle (20 Day) case. Lunches are packed in 1 frozen case. Just add the fresh fruit or vegetable plus milk or a dairy-free option from the school s inventory to complete the meal at lunch. Breakfast meals are in 1 shelf stable case and milk or dairy-free option is added at the school to complete the meal at breakfast. The following pages provide information about the meals and their ingredients for students, their parents, physicians, school foodservice staff and school administration.
