GOLDEN GATE RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION INDUSTRY CONFERENCE 2015 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
What is the Golden Gate Restaurant Association? In 2016, we ll celebrate the GGRA s 80th anniversary. Founded by restaurateurs in 1936, to give restaurants a collective voice and bargaining power, the GGRA has evolved to be the singular representation and one-stop resource for the restaurant and foodservice industry in the Bay Area and beyond. The GGRA exists to advocate for restaurants unique interests. We do that within the corridors of City Hall and through education and training programs to make sure our members are apprised of evolving legislation and stay in compliance. We celebrate and showcase our members through great annual events like Eat Drink SF and SF Restaurant week. Our member community includes restaurants of all sizes and profiles and we have a valuable network of resources to support them through all stages of growth.
What is the Industry Conference? As a part out the GGRA s signature consumer event, Eat Drink SF (formerly known as SF Chefs), we originally created a number of business and networking panels geared towards the industry only during Festival week. The sold-out classes, featuring the Bay Area s most influential chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers and mixologists, focused on key issues and trends affecting our region. In response to the overwhelming popularity and interest from the culinary community, we have developed a two-day program which will be it s own separate event two weeks prior to Eat Drink SF. The program will include keynote speakers, hands-on cooking classes, cooking demos, beverage classes, and networking sessions. Attendees range from line cooks to general managers to chefs to restaurateurs (of all sizes of restaurants) and include some of the most influential culinary professionals in Northern California. Join us Sunday, July 26 Monday, July 27, 2015!
