Adelaide Day 1 : Tuesday 7 th May On arrival into the city of churches, Adelaide, make your way to our hotel where you will be met and checked into your room to relax before this evenings drinks in the hotel lobby and then on to dinner. (Transfers can be arranged from airport upon request) Overnight: Adelaide Meals: Drinks and Dinner (including wine and or beverages) Day 2 : Wednesday 8 th May After breakfast this morning we make our way to the famous Penfolds Magill Estate Cellar Door. We get to walk in the footsteps of winemaking legends and learn of their craftsmanship and enduring winemaking philosophy. The tour begins at the original Grange Cottage, the 1844 of Penfolds founders Dr Christopher and Mary Penfold. We explore the Magill vineyard and discover the cellars of the original winery. It s now time for wine tasting. In one of the private tasting rooms we have the opportunity to try Penfolds most coveted wines, including the flagship Grange. After our tasting concludes we will be having lunch in the Penfolds café. Once back in Adelaide, this evening is free for your leisure. Overnight: Adelaide Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting, Lunch (including wine and or beverages) McLaren Vale Day 3 : Thursday 9 th May Today we make our way to the coastal region of McLaren Vale. Our first stop will be at Goodieson Brewery, a family run boutique brewery with a nice selection of Australian and German style beers. We can sit on the terrace overlooking vineyards whilst having a private guided tasting of their range. Now onto lunch at one of our favourite places in McLaren Vale, The Victory Hotel, at Sellicks Beach. With incredible views and over 8000 wines in the cellar we are in for a definite treat. We will make our way back to our accommodation where you can relax this evening before the next few days of wine tasting. Overnight: McLaren Vale Meals: Breakfast, Brewery Tasting, Lunch (including wine and or beverages) Day 4 : Friday 10 th May Today is all about wine tasting. Our first stop is Bondar Wines, a family run winery on the iconic Rayner Vineyard, we have a full private tasting here of their delicious wines. Next we stop at D arenberg, established in 1912 and one of Australia s First Families of Wine. We have a varietal discovery masterclass where we taste and identify classic grape varieties alongside a selection of local cheeses. Bekkers fine wine is our next visit. They produce a small variety of wines with finesse and beautiful texture. Our next private tasting is at Yangarra Estate, a biodynamic producer whose single vineyard wines focus solely on varieties from the Southern Rhone region in France. Our last winery of the day is Gemtree Wines. We will learn about biodynamic grape growing and wine making and see firsthand how this philosophy is applied in the vineyards. After our vineyard tour we can relax with a glass of wine along with local cured meats, cheeses and locally baked breads. Tonight we have dinner at one of McLaren Vale s best restaurants. Overnight: McLaren Vale Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting with produce platters, Dinner (including wine and or beverages)

Day 5 : Saturday 11 th May Another full day of wine tasting awaits us today.. Mollydooker Wines is our first stop today where we walk through the vineyards and winery, sampling current vintages as we go, then onto the cellar door for more of their exceptional wines. Kay Brothers is our next stop. The property was purchased in 1890 and the first bottlings were in 1898 and the wines are still being produced. We have a private tasting of selected wines along with reserve and museum vintages. S.C. Pannell awaits us, Stephen was the 2015 Australian Winemaker of the Year, and we will try a selection of his premium wines. We will be having lunch here as well and the chefs grow as much as possible on site for their menu. Wirra Wirra is our last winery today. We have an intimate back of house tour where we will learn about the stories behind the wines and also about the late Greg Trott who created the first ever Church Block. After such a big day you can relax back at our accommodation and have an evening free tonight. Overnight: McLaren Vale Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting and Lunch (including wine and or beverages) Adelaide Hills Day 6 : Sunday 12 th May Today we head to the hills, the picturesque region of the Adelaide Hills. You have a free day today for you to explore. You may wish to visit Beerenberg Farm famous for its jams and chutneys or Chocolate @ No 5 for its decadent chocolate desserts or as it is Sunday enjoy one of the many German style pubs for lunch. We will meet for dinner tonight at one of the local s favourite restaurants. Overnight: Adelaide Hills Meals: Breakfast and Dinner (including wine and or beverages) Day 7 : Monday 13 th May Our winery visits today allow us to compare the different regions as we experience the cooler climate wines of this region. Hanhdorf Hill Winery is a boutique producer who won the best cellar door tasting experience in the Adelaide Hills in 2018. We have a private tasting in their Gallery Room and get to experience their diverse range of wines. We move onto Petaluma in the township of Woodside. We have a varied tasting of their incredible wines alongside local, seasonal platters to match our wines. Shaw and Smith is a very well-known producer in Australia and their vineyards, Balhannah and Lenswood, are planted with varieties that suit this regions climate. We will be tasting their new release wines along with a few local cheeses. Ngeringa is our last winery of the day and they are one of Australia s original biodynamic winegrowing pioneers. We can relax on their verandah as we work our way through their elegant, European inspired wines. Tonight is free for you to enjoy at your own pace. Overnight: Adelaide Hills Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting with produce platters (including wine and or beverages) Barossa Valley Day 8 : Tuesday 14 th May We say goodbye to the hills and head across to the Barossa Valley. Before we check into our hotel we visit Barossa Valley Brewing where we will enjoy a flight of their diverse beers and have a relaxing lunch in their brasserie. There is time to relax in our hotel which overlooks rolling vineyards before dinner tonight. Meals: Breakfast, Brewery Tasting, Lunch and Dinner (including wine and or beverages)

Day 9 : Wednesday 15 th May After breakfast this morning we have another incredible day of wine tasting. Turkey Flat is our first stop which has vineyards dating from 1847. We have a special tasting of wines from the cellar collection and some rare museum wines with a selection of Barossa Valley produce. We visit Rockford Wines next, one of Australia s premium small producers. Our private tasting allows us the opportunity to taste their famous wines. At Charles Melton Wines our private tasting allows us to taste a variety of their wines including their Iconic series along with local cheeses. No visit to the Barossa would be complete without a visit to Maggie Beer s Farm and this our stop for lunch where you can also try the abundance of Maggie s products. After lunch we head over to Kaesler, established in 1893, and have the chance to view their ancient, dry grown vineyards. We get to walk through their Old Vine Vineyards including the Old Bastard Vineyard and taste a range of wines from these incredible Old Vines. Tonight is free for your leisure. Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting with produce platters, Lunch (including wine and or beverages) Day 10 : Thursday 16 th May Our first winery today is Kalleske. The Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853. We have a VIP private tasting in the original cellar accompanied by local produce. Massena is our next stop where they make contemporary wines in small quantities. Our private tasting allows us full access to their range and to gain an understanding of how they make their wines. Our next winery is Seppelstfield which is also our lunch venue for the day. We will have a behind the scenes look at the estates historical buildings and surrounds followed by a private tasting at the award winning cellar door. A short drive to Torbreck where our tasting will be held in the Clan room where we learn about the soils and viticulture of the region whilst tasting a selected range of Torbreck s wines. Dinner tonight is at one of the Barossa s best restaurants. Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting with produce platters, Lunch, Dinner (including wine and or beverages) Day 11 : Friday 17 th May Today is at a bit of a slower pace with only a few wineries but some of the most famous. Our first stop is Henschke where we have access to the Hill of Grace vineyard, a tour of the winery and a comprehensive private tasting. We head across to Yalumba where we get to discover Yalumba s rare, fine and distinguished wines and a masterclass of Yalumba s award winning wines. Our last winery today is Saltram where we discover the history of the winery, taste their premium wines in the barrel hall and finish with a tawny tasting. We will also have lunch at Saltram s restaurant, Salters Kitchen. This evening is free for you to enjoy. Meals: Breakfast, Wine Tasting and Lunch (including wine and or beverages)

Clare Valley Day 12 : Saturday 18 th May After breakfast we head north to the Clare Valley. We stop at Kilikanoon for a tasting of small production reserve wines before we head across to Pikes Wines for a private tasting of their full range of wines. After we check into our hotel you have some free time to relax and take in our beautiful surrounds before we meet for dinner tonight. Overnight: Clare Valley Meals: Breakfast and Dinner (including wine and or beverages) Day 13 : Sunday 19 th May Our first wine stop is synonymous with Clare Valley, Jim Barry, we have the chance to taste some of Australia s most famous wines from this region. Our next stop today is at Tim Adams where our private tasting allows us to experience their excellent range of wines. Just a short drive and we are arrive at Kirrihill where they produce premium wines from cool climate vineyards that represent the essence of Clare Valley. We will stop for lunch before our last winery of the day at Knappstein, operating from out of the old brewery building circa 1878 we can watch the last rays of the sun whilst we taste premium and museum wines. We have our farewell dinner tonight and the opportunity to look back on our wonderful adventure. Overnight: Clare Valley Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (including wine and or beverages) Day 14: Monday 15 th May After breakfast today we make our way back to Adelaide where we say goodbye to our Busby s Tours family and wish everybody a safe journey home.
