This interactive session will focus on how ITSM can be combined with Agile methodologies and traditional project management to produce high-value IT servicesand how you can have fun along the way. Attendees will learn how to use Agile, project management, and ITSM/ITIL best practice in a hands-on format by working through IT service-based projects. Speaker Background Erika Flora is a principal with Beyond20. She is an experienced project and program manager in a variety of industries as well as a skilled blogger and presenter. The author of Demystifying Agile, Scrum, and IT Service Management, Erika holds credentials as a PgMP, PMP, ITIL Expert, and CSP. She holds a Masters degree from the University of Florida, and when she s not at work, she races the occasional triathlon. Andy Rivers spent over 10 years working in HigherEd for the University of Tennessee, including two years as the acting Associate CIO for Statewide Services. In addition to Andy s skills and experiences, he holds a Master s Degree in Telecommunications Systems Management and is ITIL v3 Expert certified. Since joining the Beyond20 team, Andy has become a lead advisor and trainer. He has built upon all his years and experience with HigherEd to become a highly sought after and recommended trainer. He actively provides training in the full suite of ITIL courses, acts as BEYOND20 s lead Security+ instructor, and is a senior advisor and consultant on ITSM related engagements. Andy is an accomplished presenter with numerous engagements, include being a regular presenter at the annual Tennessee Higher Education IT Symposium (THEITS).
