NORCROFT NURSERIES Telephone: 016974 73933 Norcroft Nurseries is a one man business taken over by Keith Bell in 1992. Originally selling just bedding and basket plants, Keith has extended the range to include many varieties of Hostas, Lilies, Papavers, Aquilegea and Dianthus. Listed here are the names of what are available this year. The nursery is usually open every afternoon between April and August (1.00 to 5.00 p.m.) except Mondays - although open on Bank Holiday Mondays! However, if you are coming from a distance, please telephone first to make sure Keith has not been called away. If you cannot manage to visit, Keith will be happy to supply you mail order. Post and packing will be charged as actual. Please make cheques payable to Keith Bell. Directions to the Nursery: Coming from the north: At Junction 42 of the M6, take the road signed for Dalston. About half a mile on, turn left at the crossroads for Wreay. Follow this road and once in the village, turn right at the church, then bear left almost immediately (road signed for Southwaite). At the next crossroads (about a mile and a half), the nursery is situated on the right, behind Roadends. Coming from the south: Take the exit off the M6 signed for Southwaite Services, stay in the left hand lane don t go into the car park and take the exit marked no entry, on the left. When you reach the road, turn right and, after about one and a half miles, turn right at the crossroads (signed Wreay), cross the motorway, and the nursery is on your left at the next crossroads. 8
