Your Special Day Your special day needs to revolve around you so when you re ready to arrive we will be ready to receive you and your guests at a time that suits you. If our wedding packages do not perfectly match your dream day, then we are more than happy for you to design your own wedding. Evening Snacks Cheese Table - 8.25 per person A selection of cheeses set out for your guests to graze on served with bread, butter, chutney and biscuits. Terms and Conditions A provisional booking for the date of your choice will be held for a maximum of one month. During this period we need written confirmation of provisional numbers attending and a non refundable deposit of 500. The booking will be confirmed on your return of a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions and the agreed deposit. Cancellation In the unlikely event that you may have to cancel your booking, a charge will be made calculated as a percentage of the total booking value, according to the scale below: 12 weeks or more prior to the event the deposit will be forfeited unless we are able to re book the room. 6-12 weeks prior to the event 50% of the total charge based upon your estimated numbers will be charged. 2-6 weeks prior to the event 75% of the total charge based upon your estimated numbers will be charged. 2 weeks or less to the event 100% of the total charge based upon your estimated numbers will be charged. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the client. If we have to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances we will refund all monies paid, but will have no liability for consequential losses as a result of cancellation by us. Confirmation and Deposits The club reserved the right to set a minimum number to be charged for an event, estimated numbers must be confirmed in writing at the time of the booking. Final numbers are required 21 days prior to the wedding, any reduction in numbers after this time will be charged. Final room layout should be confirmed no later than 1 week prior to the wedding. Prices are applicable for the current year. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. In the case of a change in the rate of VAT no notice need to be given. The Management will endeavour to maintain current prices, but reserve the right to pass on any increases which may be imposed by suppliers or the Government. Payment Two weeks before the wedding, an invoice will be issued based on the confirmed figures at this time. The account should be settled in full within 7 working days of the issue of the invoice if paying by cheque. Payment by credit/debit card will be accepted on the day of the event. Any additional costs should be settled on departure unless written agreement is obtained in advance from the club. Liability and Responsibility The club accepts no responsibility for any person or their belongings, including gifts and personal possessions, unless as the result of negligence by the club or its employees. Cars may be left in the car park overnight and can be collected from 7:30am the following morning. The Duty Manager must be informed on the evening if this is the case. Any entertainment that is directly booked by the client must be agreed with and approved by us one month prior to the event. We reserve the right to refuse any entertainment activity that we consider unacceptable on grounds of safety or inappropriate contact. All entertainers must provide an electrical safety certificate (where applicable) and accept full responsibility for the safety of the equipment. Conduct and damage to property In the event of any guest s behaviour being unacceptable to Hoburne Golf, the Management reserves the right to insist they leave club premises. Any cost incurred as a result of damage to Bulbury Woods Golf Club property will be added to the clients account. When agreed the wine/champagne may be supplied by the client, a corkage charge of 10 will apply to each bottle of wine and 16 to each bottle of champagne. Alcoholic gifts are not to be consumed on the premises unless a corkage charge has been paid. All other drinks consumed on the premises must be those purchased from the club. 1 month prior to the wedding, Bulbury Woods Golf Club should be notified of the name and address of the cake maker and a copy of their Public Liability Insurance should be given to the Duty Manager. Service Charge Service charge is at the discretion of the client. The preceding Terms and Conditions, in conjunction with the attached letter indicating our understanding of your requirements form a legally binding contract. By signing a copy of these Terms and Conditions you are stating that you have read and accepted them.
